Completely agreed bro! The title is something like a meme for fun! When I started playing guitar it felt very limiting to have one tuning but now that I have five guitars if you would ask me to have only one turning I would choose e standard mainly because I like to practice guitar in that tuning. Also sylosis RULES

@@juanjo55lol If it's a pun: it's as ancient and fossilized as a mammoth's excrements. If it's a genuine question: the latter. Kinda. Black metal was my introduction to metal in general, but I grew out of it pretty quickly. Point still stands though: I consider de-tuning just for the sake of it poseurish.

@@noneofyerbeeswax8194 I understand your point but this comes off as super pretentious. De-tuning doesn't automatically make a riff/song worse or "poseurish". Hell even some early Mayhem stuff is heavily down tuned

@@absence7445 Yeah, you're right. I'm actually a big fan of doom metal, and guess what: it's normally in C# standard. :) Toni Iommi started de-tuning back in 70-s, so it's not a new thing. These days people sometimes de-tune their guitars below the threshold of human hearing (literally - pitch shifters & all) just to sound br00tal and heavy. That's really stupid.
