Deep within the mountains of North San Diego lies a hidden treasure within the city of Poway. A small 3 ft narrow gauge railroad that has been entertaining the public for over 30 years. On selected weekends, they operate their 116 year old steam locomotive, #3, built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April of 1907. Although small in size, this locomotive packs a punch when the throttle is open, and is a sight to see in action. Enjoy the sights and sounds of #3 as she treks her way through Old Poway Park.
