This video made me almost explode! In a good way. Long story on how I got here, but I'm looking at this is the perfect troubleshooting tool for my team. You and another creator have helped me create several SP's, apps, automate, and this may be the best thing I've ever seen. Thank you! I have no idea how I can use it to leverage my documents yet, but I will.
Very impressive how this product leverages the best of the Power Platform technologies, power automate, power apps, PVA, it looks like its all integrated and it looks awesome Very well explained, thank you for sharing miss Dunnam you rock
Saw your video last night so couldn't wait to watch it and O My my!!!! This is truly taken our App development to a whole new level. Great video in giving us an over view but need to see more to know see how best to leverage all these new "goodies". Can't wait to get my fingers dirty with Copilot. 🤣🤣
Wow this is super exciting and will truly empower more of our users to use Power Apps. It makes Power Apps not so scary for our users anymore! Thank you for sharing this video!!!
One thing we're looking at is encouraging "coding" standards for our citizen devs (and requiring them for external contractors), so that the apps in our tenancy are supportable in the medium-to-long term. Has any thought been put into that?
I could see these AI copilot features being a good way to enforce certain coding standards in the future, although that isn't in the product today. Who know's what innovations we'll see with this down the road, this is only the beginning
I notice the responses to the question how many power app sessions are there didn't provide links. I would argue the default search bar is way more useful in this case. Hopefully Microsoft introduces some more intelligence here, one of the big gains with ai is information retrieval but text strings are rarely enough for a user. You also need implied potential actions to the query.
I was excited until 0:46 when my dreams of a better future were utterly crushed. Now I'm typing from a corner through tears wondering why I can't have nice things like copilot banners at the top of my PowerApps screen.
Love this video. Your videos are always relevant and easy to understand. I had no idea the power behind copilot. It looks like it needs the premium license. Is that true?
Hi April, i hope you are keeping well. I have a query and will be greatful it you could help me out with it - i have large data set thru a SP list and i want to connect it to combo box as a data source inside a PowerApp input form . The problem is it won't search/pull beyond 2000 rows - is there a way to get this done ..?, if you know how - a short video of the same will be very helpful
How to integrate AI Copilot to Power Apps. 1. Only works for US environment. 2. How to import power apps to AI Copilot Apps. 3. How to set up AI Copilot for existing Power Apps from old version. 4.Why using MS Edge for Copilot, is it correct. Please explain all detail and show how it works. Thank you. Toan
One more video like always, with amazing content :) . I have one doubt, i tried myseld and also looking on the web but i cant get any info if the controller can have fine tunning. For example, i made an app to test and the concept where to extract the selected account from a gallery. The name of that account was stored in a text label then i try to filter the copilot to only give me info on that particular account ( Filter(Accounts, 'Account Name' = Label2.Text) ) but with no success, i only got copilot search in all records. I even try hardcode the value of the account name to an existing account and no success also ... is there any limitation on the controller that dont allow this kind of filtering? or am i failing somewhere?
Hi. I am able to see that copilot option was enabled in environment settings but iam not able to see placeholder to type text to process and to create app. Do you know how to enable it ?
Great April.😀Any news about the Copilot for Office Apps ? Does not look like any is available in Europe. I did see that the Powerapps one is only in the USA
All of these features are rolling out to the U.S. first. I don't have an ETA on availability in other regions yet but I will make sure to keep everyone updated 😀
Hey David, Right now, we can't use this to make design tweaks to the page. The copilot will suggest this standard look and feel and then we would need to go in and tweak it manually to make any layout changes. That would be awesome if sometime in the future we were able to use AI to make these tweaks to the design too
@@AprilDunnam thanks for this great video, will Copilot work with Azure SQL, Sharepoint Data? It would be great if it could figure out all the related data in an App, inevitably just about all Apps will need more than a table.
Can you show how we can create reference tables using the prompts? For example, in the Orders table, there will references to user table and products table.
That's a good question. I believe right now we are unable to use the copilot itself to create reference tables. We would have to go and add that in after the fact because it only supports single tables at this time.
@@AprilDunnam 😃Your videos have helped me so much in my career, you have no idea. I think a lot of people would agree with me around the globe. You're welcome, and keep shining.🙏
Great overview as always! How do we enable this in a developer account for trying out? Also is there a way to enable this in PowerApps under a M365 E3/E5 license?
Theoretically yes. If you connect a SharePoint library to a Power App and add in the new copilot control then you can interact with that data Bing search chat style
We don't have any dates yet for when it will become available for everyone but I will update you all as soon as I know. For now you can signup for the preview here: aka.ms/PowerAppsAIPreview It will request a normal premium Power Apps license to use I believe
I was trying to look because I thought I noticed a OneNote demo in the M365 copilot section but now I can't find reference to it so I'm not sure? blogs.microsoft.com/blog/2023/03/16/introducing-microsoft-365-copilot-your-copilot-for-work/
Currently US right now and I don't know of a timeline yet for UK. But as soon as I know anything I will update everyone on social and the channel! P.S. thank you so much - right back at you!
Does this work in Dataverse for Teams? Working at a very large corporation makes it difficult to use premium features as we can't provide premium licenses for all users
Copilot component is not giving results and it throws an error 403 Forbidden. "error": { "type": "Error", "code": "ModelNotSupported", "message": "This scenario is not supported in this environment." },
@@AprilDunnam Dataverse table .developer environment ! Copilot feature is activated on the environment. I added the copilot control but it says something went wrong. Please try again.
@@AprilDunnam Hy April I am so happy because I find your RU-vid channel and I am so interested by your template of desk booking but I have just I problem that when I user connected to do app the icon of desk management hide but when he click the place of the icon the app give him the ability a disk management as admin
Not for the part where you put what you want and it builds the app for you. That will only build a Dataverse back end for you for the app. But if you have an existing app with an SPO data source and want to add the in-app Copilot control I demoed then it works with that
This is amazing!! Does it work for apps that are connected to a SharePoint list? If so, are there any delegation concerns if you ask it to filter data from the list?
Yes the Copilot control that you can add to an existing app works great with SharePoint lists. I tested that out a bit. It is worth noting that the control is a premium control though so there is licensing considerations. I haven't noticed any delegation issues but I would need to test more extensively with larger volumes of data
Unfortunately quality of software is becoming worse and worse with those kind of tools, allowing people without any IT understanding to create such applications. The primary key for the name field in your video is such an example. Companies will have to pay a high price for this soon...
I know right? We had to send out the Power Addicts bat signal to get help back in the day lol. But I am so glad that these AI features are making it more accessible for anyone to build apps!
