#powerautomate #nestedfolder #documentlibrary This video is about how to create nested folder structure inside sharepoint docuemnt library using Power Automate. we can do that using create new folder action in Power Automate.
Great video and hope it sets me up for success. Any possibility of guidance with error handling? My use case has a few different nested layers. In many cases, the parent folder is the same and I just need to create subfolders within the parent (think client/project). Following the video, I'm not getting past creation of the first parent folder since the second record has the same parent, with different subfolder.
I have a question on how to create a flow to create the nested folders within SharePoint with different folder names for each row based on corresponding column values.
Hi, I tried and it works fine!! I need other 2 subfolders level, is it possible to get this nested structure starting from an excel file of more than 2 columns, let's say 4 column? Thanks for any advice.
it is usefull if you have thousands of folders to be created in SP. But for couple of folders creation in SP - manual work is much faster though. Do you know any automatic way to create multiple folders in ANY sharepoint library?
Thanks it was useful but I am facing an issue, in the excel table, from a column only 1st value is going under the correct folder, all the other values are going under the root folder, for example, if Department Column has the values: HR, Finance and IT, only HR gets created under the nested sub folder, the other two values are getting created in the root folder, please assist, Thanks

Thanks it was useful. I was wondering if there is a way to embed the create folders button in the Site's document library so that users don't have to go to PowerApps dashboard/portal to run the flow.
Hey can I check with you, if I update an excel masterlist, is it possible to use Power Automate to create a folder for each new additions into the excel column?
