Power Automate: HTML Tables [Power Platform Series - Ep. 8] 

In this video, Matt continues his series on the Power Platform. He dives into Power Automate to discuss how to trigger an email to be sent that contains a list of records. The email that is sent will have a nicely formatted HTML table to present the data. In the first part of the demo, you will see how to send all of your records from a SharePoint site. Know moving forward though that your data source does not have to be SharePoint, but could be anything from a DataVerse table, SQL Server Table, Excel Online list, etc.
In the second part of the video, Matt will showcase how to take the generic HTML table that is created by Power Automate and add your styling changes to it. You can download this file with the link provided below. In addition, Matt discusses how to filter the list of records that are sent in the email if you are not wanting to send every single record. For example, only send the records that have a data value greater than or equal to today’s date. To accomplish this you will use an Odata filter using the expression language within Power Automate.
Finally, you will learn how to prevent receiving an empty HTML table email if you put a filter on your list of records and the filter does not contain any data. To accomplish this you will initialize a variable with an expression and also utilized doing a condition control step.
