Good afternoon, i learn so many things in this dashboard and enhanced my knowledge on DAX and insights and also the interactions between all charts and KPIs, and hope that you are going to make some more Dashboards with new ideas .
1. Shouldn't we create dim_Product and dim_Store tables to make a star schema? 2. What is your opinion on creating a design by inserting shapes, which makes refresh slower, instead of using PowerPoint? 3. 1:09:00 Why calculated column instead of a measure? Performance will definitely suffer 4. What's the point in creating CM Sales? It is exactly the same as Total Sales 5. 1:45:53 Why did you create month-diff variable and then did not use it in mom? 6. 2:36:40 This pie chart doesn't make any sense. How can you compare Total Sales in $ with Total Orders? These are different units
Where have you used MySQL? Please make a video how to get the MySQL table data into PowerBI. I've explored many videos in RU-vid. No one showed a proper tutorial.
The project is superb and very helpful.. Thank you for taking the initiative .. Just one suggestion .. I think if you make the project in Hindi ... it would be more impactful and easy to understand (especially the DAX functions and the exact purposes for making the DAX function)

I have decided to add this project to my portfolio and I am almost completing it. However, I figured that each time I format the constant line section to select the new measure calculated(Daily Avg Sales), as soon as I click ok, the bars(columns) in the stacked column chat, disappears. I tried to increase the value to 1, the column then re-appeared but as soon as I proceed to select the new measure calculated, it vanishes again. I have tried to unselect and re-select to troubleshoot the error, still proved futile. I will appreciate your assistance. Thank you in anticipation.
Thank you so much for the great lesson sir , indeed learned a lot & boosted one confidence with all the DAX manipulation shown in this video . i just have a question regards the last visual Sales by Hours | Days whenever you use any of the filters of other visuals the stacked column chart above the [Day Names] will be filtered but not synched with the heat map , i wonder if you can tell me how to synch them together.
Hello Data Tutorials, I wanted to know why you wrote that cm_sales. Isn't this also the right DAX formula? DAX Cm_sales = CALCULATE(TOTALMTD([Total Sales], Date_table[Date])) It is providing the same results.And as i know that every thing which is in dashboard is interlinked so why the cm_sales ?

I don't understand this: Why we did these SQL queries in previous video? Because there is no use for them, or am I wrong ? Everything for dashboard is done in PowerQuery and DAX. Or can I somehow use these queries ?

great explanation but my doubt is what is the reason to use SQL in this project since everything depends on DAX queries to make different metrics like total orders , total sales etc in power BI

First of all these are projects with data available on kaggle or any other website. The requirements are created by myself based on my 10+ years of experience in this field. When you create requirements and based on that you create these logic, and I have not used chat gpt. I have gained enough experience in DAX that I can create these set of logics by myself. In realtime requirements and data come from clients, which are somewhat similar as these.

@s.s616 you have to work on such projects, create your own reports. Practice will only make u perfect. Even I didn’t had much knowledge when I started to work in this field. You have to work on multiple scenarios. Building and practising 2 or 3 projects won’t get u to this level of understanding. Work as much as you can on such projects, then and then u will gain knowledge and confidence.
