Gentleman and gem of a person ....so down to earth and spoke so so well! I am nutritionist and a diet counselor and hence I can tell for sure that his understanding of hunger and its connection with helping you connect with your body is absolutely bang on ❤
His favourite breakfast Kanzi that he said about. In Odisha we call it Pakhal (rice fermented overnight in water) which we relish next day with 4-5 different sides dishes woth fish fry one of them. Maddy is so good as a person. How well he speaks. ❤
It's so lovely always to watch Madhavan and his interviews... He is being so genuine and really Inspiring.. can't get enough watching him ... thank you Kamiya and team for bringing this for us! Appreciate it ❤
Glad to see that you still remember Sham’s vada and Kolhapur. I spent my college days eating Sham’s vada for lunch sometimes. The shop is still there though the quality has been changed over the years.
@Madhavan yet another statement you made that resonates with me i.e. either eating for pleasure or survival, most folks who have made some money today eat for pleasure and not just survival, the food for survival is simple, and the food for pleasure are all the fancy dishes that have some good and most of what is not good.
Dosa is pronounced differently in all South Indian states. To generalize by saying "Dosai" is blasphemy 😅 1) KA - Dose 2) TN - Dosai 3) KL - Dosha 4) AP & TS: Dosa (I suppose)
@@SKClipCorner he said woah you know tamil now. When she said dosai. Which means he meant only tamil. And not entire southindia even though he said the same in the beginning
@@shreya1919 Lets not debate when it's out there in the open. It's okay to say something inappropriate unknowingly. Madhavan is also human at the end of the day :) If we can uphold our favourite celebrities for the good things, we should also point out when it's not. I am resting my case right here 🙂 Don't have to provide anything more. Cheers!
@Madhavan you speak like Sir Velumani founder of Thyrocare, Stress is when the reality is different from your expectations, that is all, and yes it is part of life, i wish everyone understand this like you do and like you stated, i am glad i know someone that thinks alike 🙂
Happy that someone corrected her saying Dosa...i commented few weeks back the same to her , its not Dosa its Dhosa". Hope she says correctly now onwards
Maddy sir is such a down to earth, humble, honest , knowledgeable and sweetest actor. We need more people like him. He speaks so well. I really enjoyed this video of Kamya & Maddy. So inspiring.
Ask her to pronounce Sahyadri next time She makes such great efforts to talk all other languages well but when it comes to Marathi she acts like it’s an alien language. Madhavan lived in Kolhapur for his studies and learnt Marathi. She’s born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and still struggles.
@@markdsouza2145 in kolkatta the first thing an outsider migrant does is learn bengali here even after 2 generations they will not learn the local language marathi how is that
Maddy embodies humility, honesty, and knowledge, making him a rare gem in the world of acting. His down-to-earth demeanor and sweetness resonate deeply, setting him apart as an exemplary figure. His eloquent speech and inspiring presence leave a lasting impact, as seen in the captivating video with Kamya. His character serves as a beacon of light, reminding us of the importance of integrity and kindness in the entertainment industry and beyond. Indeed, the world could benefit from more individuals like Maddy, whose genuine essence enriches both hearts and minds, fostering a culture of positivity and inspiration.
@@ayasswain her channel is on food and travel. Mispronouncing basic words of foods that are globally famous is not okay. I like Kamiya's shows, but recent interviews with Southern stars shows clearly that she doesn't know enough about our culinary gems.
Oh yes Kanji, the healthiest breakfast of farmers in South India. especially if it is the Unpolished red rice that is commonly consumed in the south. left over rice is soaked in water with some yogurt and left to ferment overnight on the countertop. morning you can have it just with a pinch of salt or a tiny amount of lemon pickle or some raw veggies, roasted cumin seeds ect. it is an excellent source of vitamin B12 for vegetarians. The best kind of rice is brown rice or unpolished rice. the bran of the rice grain is what adds both flavor and nutrition to this kanji. In my Grandmothers house in Mangalore, deliberately more rice was cooked so that there is quite some leftover for the next morning Kanji. they used to consume it at around 5 am in the morning, go to the fields to work and come back at 12 for lunch. that is how filling it is.
At night we have to soak cooked rice in water with dahi or just rice n water or add curd, onion, pickle, cumin powder or cumin seeds, green chillies in the morning?
@@jasha_jain leftover rice, little water and little dahi mix all in the night and cover and leave it overnite. next morning add whatever else you want to. honestly its more healthy to keep it simple. maybe just a pinch of salt and roasted jeera is more than enough.
He is such an amazing person. So down to earth and my kind of personality. To check, experiment and to seek. The only complaint I have is his beard. Wish he was clean shaven. It's a pity that I wont be able to watch his films in Poland. In my town, no Indian movie is played.
@Madhavan what you just said about not eating when it is time vs. when you are hungry, is something i realised back in 2011 when i was talking to my son who was around 5 years then, such a profound thought and hopefully folks understand that, as this will change their thought process forever and make them a better human being. There is so much to learn from the questions kids ask us.
