Using a couple Kutzall discs, I power carved this wave for a piece to go above our fireplace. It took a while to get the hang of it, but I eventually found a pretty good process for making a design like this.
If you're going to power carve more regularly, I would recommend the Kutzall Extreme Shaping Dish (Coarse) for your initial shaping to really hog out the material, which will put less strain on the angle grinder itself, and then go back over it quickly with the other Medium Kutzall Dish that you used in the video over that to refine it a little and take out some of the marks, and then follow up with your soft pad on the random orbital sander. It will also clog up the Medium Dish less if you aren't using that more fine tooth stuff for the bulk removal. On the finish, Rubio also now makes another finish called SheenPlus that you can add as a second layer over the OP2C, which will give it a slightly more satin look (and less matte).
This is incredibly well shot and well edited! I love your style and I am genuinely surprised that this was your first video it is very polished. I like your maple wall decoration as well
Механическую первичную обработку данных панелей целесообразно сегодня делать на ЧПУ станке. А используя разные программы масштабировать с разными видами рельефом и тем более в требуемым количестве.
Deeper grooves. You can also see the sapwood. You could grain match it better or cut the waves out so the shape of the wood matches the shape of the piece. I’ve seen someone do carvings like this and usually they don’t go with normal wood stain. They go spray paint to cover the differences in wood color, and they lean into the grain instead.
