note on sharper images. Illusion is the parent category for phantasms and clones. It does not include everything that is "illusionary" in fluff. Its still generating a fair amount of blades due to the sheer amount of hits zerker does.

I fuuucking love power classes. Double that for ranged dps. Gotta give this a try. I hope it's here to stay.

at this minute I know chrono is a bit higher on dps, but this build is definitely close to top power dps builds

@johnrobb5975 note that virt is probably better for fractals. I play mesmer in cms and t4 and the ramp is just too long on chrono. by the time I'm going to start really picking up the damage, the boss has phased or died.

I love the depth of your guides! Any chance chrono will be getting any love in the future? Virtuoso may have MAX DEEPS, chrono has insane flexibility, but optimizing it seems really tough

Oh dude something I figured out recently, at 0:42 you can hold down '1' to use that (and all abilities in the game) off cooldown. Limited to 1 ability at a time though

assuming it isn't an aoe ability (unless you have instant cast turned on in settings)

have you benchmarked this build on the golem at all? I ran power mesmer for ages before swapping over to condi. I prefer power but dont want to have to stat swap everything in the mystic toilet again if its weaker

I benched it when making the video, I know that people get over 38k but i was around 36k(i'm not good hahaha) and power chrono is doing like 42k with almost the same gear. But I would say that having both the Power and Condi build on Virtuoso is super good... use the vault and slowly get some berserkers pieces again until you get em all!

Personally I like to take Jagged Mind. This gives you tons of blade generation for shatters, you drop a bit of dps but the gains are huge

Im new to the game, and decided to go virtuoso main. Currently going dagg/pistol, and greatsword. Is dagg/sword way better? I can pick up a sword np

You gain ferocity form a trait and it has big dps on sword 5 and a active block on sword 4 , which can turn into CC. But if you aren't doing raids and fractals the pistol is still great... there were a few old builds that used pistol Oh and also, I would wait for the new balance update to hit before getting a sword just in case

The lack of stun breaks and cleanse is concerning. I dont trust people enough to rely on comp bc positioning isnt always possible.

Using sword 4 for block or sword 2 for evasion frames or stability mantra or mirror image for stunning break are options... i mean you can trait a few things to help you in bad pugs

they are berserkers, check the builds in the description for my builds I was using, there are 2 different builds

A little bit but still strong, but power chrono is hitting a little harder so more elite players play it but I feel more comfortable on this because I'm not as good as them 😅

I can get 36k and have almost touched 37k. But I am 1)not very good and 2) play with 200-300ping... I have seem 38k parses so I'd say aim for 38k.... usually if I can do 90% of bench I'm happy

36k is very good in my book. I think this build can benches to 38.5k but achieving 95% of bench is like very few can do already. I could only do ~33k without infusion.@@alcapitian
