Yani he is very challenged with Babu he cant believe wht this man is capable of..so he was tryinh very hard to downplay him...sooo many times in this interview..shame on him
Then he fallen for it,and the babu guy seems to not seeing it coming.its the work of interviwers to play devils advocate, and instead of playing alongside,he get trapped and just rummbled in it on a national TV.He handled it very unprofessionally am sorry to say.
Life really changes this is an example of the challenge we as youth face when we try to air out of views the old people dismisses as, as if we don't know anything.
Imagine!!sth like guns...this old man really needed exposure!! He is ignorant to assume tht university students are just kids...as if we dont hv business men and women or even politicians studying in these universities..tht thy are grown adults with guns!! Mkoloni tu
The video shows that wisdom doesn't come with age all the time. Look at the way the youngest and oldest person are reasoning. The old sometimes are guilty of being too rigid and conservative. Not contemplating that things can be better than how they did them..
Nairobi university was rotten and stenching during Babu Owino,s time till the government intervened by deploying civilian armed police officers and national security agencies to enforce law and order there.Mutegi feels like smacking the boy in the best way known by Meru men who don't take the nonsense of nugging boys.
This Citizen presenters ask questions like they have never been students before. You mean you don't know what college and university administration do to student??
Babu I'd like to organise for you some student leadership interaction trip to the UK but you'll need to be careful how you use your position responsibly to solving the problems of the students as well as the wider societal problems. You are young and gifted but be careful you don't end up ruining your image. I'll get in touch ASAP. Students ought to challenge the ills of our society such as high energy costs, poaching, poverty, etc. apart from the challenges they face at college. Avoid guns and unnecessary fame lest you ruin your image & perhaps the future too.
You just said it my friend, went to collage in states and never seen collage leadership going this far. these kids need an exchange program, i mean, these are no longer learning institutions.
This guy is a joke! I mean he has SOME leadership in him, just wish he could channel it in the right manner. *sigh* If these are the sort of leaders UoN elects! Woe unto the next generation of Kenya.
