Im 62 and today i flew my first kite.....just a single line kids job but WOW im hooked, my wife said i sounded like a 5 year old, looking at your vid i realise that i just have to get to grips with one of these.
Ya have 2 years on me and I started with a 1.2 then a delta or several and my 2 meter made it here today and all this over a few months time! It turns out foils are great exercise and helps with a vertigo problem left over from brain surgery after radiation to the head. Jumping might not be happening as bones do get frail with age and even faster after chemo! Cancer sucks! LOL!
i broke my leg jumping with a 3 meter kite last thurs. got home from hospital and bought a 14m kitesurf power kite on ebay. that feeling's addictive. s**t happens.
I wouldn't know as I am too busy watching to fly my kite because if I look down to land, the wind, kite attitude can change for the worse and I hate bad landings, they hurt.🤪
For all the people saying "how big", it's not the size that counts. You have to work hard to do this (as in "running"), no kite will lift you off the floor if you're just standing still. It also helps a lot if you do it on a slope (like the kid in this video is doing).
Im 57 and just started jumping for about a month with a toxic2 6.3m and I'm feeling and looking amazing!! I can't get enough...I try to do 2 hrs a day....makin a buggy!!!!!

ok this might sound like a stupid question but i have a 4 slingshot and im lookin for alot more power. i wanna jump ad high and long as possible. now would a pansh ace 8m or 12m be better for kit jumping? obviously the 12m has more power but im wondering if the speed differences in the kites would make a difference in that you need the perfect balance of speed and power. which one should i get for the biggest jumps?

Help! I'm about 5"9 and weigh 175. Whats the best type of kite to get If I want to get a good 10ft plus jump/air time??? I saw a Pansh Ace 7m & Panch 3.5m on ebay! Are those any good???
Kitekiller's is something you put on your wrists then attatch it to the bottom (brake) line, so if you let go of your handles, the kitekillers will pull the bottom (brake) line making the kite go down and making it powerless :)
i've got my kites for 3 days , first time i was scared (for a bit) but after trying it , it feels like it's the best thing i ever did! Every kite is dif. , i've got 2 & 4 Lined kite, you could start with 2 lined maybe 4 and a lenght of 4M
Nice video ;) & insane jumps! But let me give you a hint... It is much easier to jump with an depower Kite which is about 10m² big so you dont have to wait for such strong wind as in your vid. Also the landig is really smooth with a bigger Kite!
Hey man can u tell me what size kite and specific model is great for kite jumping? Right now i have symphony 2.5 meter which i know is too small but want to buy HQ4 hydra 420 (4.2 meters span). Would that be a good choice ?
