I'm not too concerned with this. Rampant crime and victimization in the cities, do nothing district attorneys who won't prosecute or who downgrade charges, no cash bail, police consent decrees and revolving door "justice" that allow criminals to operate with impunity and very few consequences is what I'm concerned with.

I’d like to ask how anyone knows that there aren’t police calling out the bad police? Is it because they haven’t personally heard it themselves? Just because you haven’t heard it doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

Generalizing a group of people based on their occupational choice is definitely different than generalizing people based on race but it’s still a generalization which is a logical fallacy.

I tuned into this show briefly today and was immediatly impressed and pleased by an extended period of silence by Joe while MIca and the others handled everything. Joe´s usual and almost costant blather and digressions are intrusive, distracting, and painfully boring! If he ever had a "prime" in his career it has long since passed. He starts his irrelevent blithering and never seems to stop. He obviously gets his kicks out of hearing himself speak ad nausium! You can see in the facial expressions of his colleagues that they are doing their utmost (probably praying silently) to contain themselves until he stops his latest inane comment to come up for air. His job can only be on air because of some great contract work accomplished by his money-hungry, sycophant publicist and lawyers because he is a major net drain on what could otherwise be ...and should be...a good, even important show. Dump Joe ASAP and turn over the ¨rains" (SP, sorry) to Mica or even the cleaning crew. Anyone but Joe would be a tremendous improvement! I might even start tuning in myself again which out of boredom and intellectual self-preservation I stopped doing several months ago....

We have to remember that the police are the armed enforcement agents of local government. We called the police, ‘law enforcement’, because the police enforce the law enacted by elected officials. There is great concern now because with all of the progressive ‘defund’ movement by radical fringe elements. Police departments are having a great deal of difficulty attracting qualified applicants for recruit officer training. Police departments have had to lower their standards in order to fill their ranks, and we are finding many who wear the uniform and carry a gun who would not be qualified five years ago.
