The CMMC final rule went into final regulatory review on June 27th, which means that it will likely take effect earlier than expected-many are predicting before the end of 2024.
Instead of waiting for defense contractors to demand compliance (or worse, just stop requesting work altogether), shops that prioritize CMMC compliance will be at an advantage for securing or retaining those highly sought-after contracts.
