Arriva London's T313 taken from 0 - 60mph!
This time round on the 0-Top Speed series we have an Second Generation Enviro 400 using the quieter, Euro 6 Cummins ISBe6.7 engine paired with a 6-Speed ZF EcoLife gearbox! A bit easier on the ear but definitely a bus not to be underestimated! Those who don't already know, most of the Ts in this batch have their gearboxes with TopoDyn set to 'Power Mode', allowing upshifting to occur as high at 2000-2200rpm. Everyone has their ways of describing things like this, but these RPMs match a bus that would've had kickdown for example a Trident, only difference would be that these upshift limits are controlled purely based on pedal position and not a switch under the pedal. Undoubtedly this bus here is an animal... in the beginning skipping through 1st gear like no tomorrow and gradually powering up to 60mph against the A2016 incline, with probably the longest & highest revving 5th gear you'll ever hear in a ZF E40D!
