Awesome to see him come back and take time out of his schedule. It is a bit disappointing that he isn't coming back for the next morphicon. Who knows maybe he is busy saving lives.

thanks for the info man, after much searching on the photo gallery I found the picture with Austin... He has broad shoulders, actually the widest of all the Red Rangers. But I wonder who is the pretty blonde in the group shot

@DanielKeithMorrison EXACTLY! I hate the way people are carrying on about it. Very few people are able to stay in exactly the same shape that they were nearly 20 years ago. It's natural to fill out a little. From what I can tell, he's still healthy, he's just filled out a little more. He was still quite young when he joined the show. It's called growing up.

super agreed bro, I am an Austin Fan. Jason was my favourite ranger next to Zack. if he was given the green ranger role or wasn't so picky about being paid more the result would be the same a JDF. Austin grew up and mellowed out but JDF has in interview called out Austin for a fight match. Oh and as for Forever Red, Jasons role was fine where it was but as the original he should have also taken command with tommy. JDF still gets my respect though to a degree. I just like Austin more.

Actually, Austin St. John is just his stage name. His real name actually is Jason Geiger. That's why he went on the rant. I don't know if Geiger is his real last name or just his middle name, but I know it's the name he had in school.

Austin St. John went on a rant, about there being three Jason's on the set. Jason, as in Skull. Austin St. John's character name, Jason. And Jason David Frank. Also Austin St. John held a grudge to Jason David Frank when JDF was named the leader when he became the White Ranger, aka 6th ranger. But when Austin St. John became the Gold Ranger, Jason David Frank was still the leader.

People, I´m Brasilian and I´m a big fan of this guy. I watched Power Rangers everyday when I was a child. He is of course the best ranger ever, and I have a question : A lot of people say that he is gay ? Is it true ?

JDF didn't appreciate how Austin would brag about his martial arts and would talk about how he killed a guy in a match, things which JDF considered BS and not of the manner that a martial artist should speak, so essentially its how JDF felt that Austin was disrespecting martial arts which is something that JDF takes very seriously and has practiced since he was very young.

yeah i agree, i wasn't a big fan anymore when like all these new people replaced the original power rangers cast, which later led to zeo and turbo. and i am not dogging jason david frank (tommy green/ white ranger) in fact i was glad to see him join the cast of the original mighty morphin power rangers. and i was surprised to find out trini died, and back in 2001 too.

he looks bigger, but the thing is when you're a teenager you tend to be slimmer. When you get older it's easier to pick up weight, but he still looks awesome...if you ask me. No one's going to look the way they did when they were 18...give it a break. It was 14 years ago!

It's been over 15 years. JDF doesn't act the way he used too, and I doubt Austin does either. They were just teenagers then. People mellow out as they age. I'm sure Austin didn't go totally nuts, but that doesn't make everything JDF said untrue.

According to some articles I read about him, he chose that name before he ever became part of Power Rangers. I guess Austin St. John rolls off the tongue better than Jason Geiger.

Yeah he was actually still in PR when that stuff was dated. I've seen the photos and what not, and it doesn't even look like him. People ho've watched him on the show, would be able to tell the difference without a problem. ...Unless they were blind as a bat =P

Uh JDF had several reasons why he doesn't like him. He said Austin talks about being able break bricks with his hand and killed people in the ring and all that b/s. Stuff like that boils him, how ever JDF really hates the guy more than what he leads on. Austin in his interviews seems to be a lil less than what JDF describes. I think its more of JDF likes being the man ontop and Austin wasn't the type to be shown up. Two big egos clashing thats all.
