Very Very Informative video on SI, CI calculation and power of compounding. Let say I have invested 20K in five stocks equally with differnt annual return (10%, 11%, 12%, 13%, 14%) , Hoe do i calculate my final amount after 1 year . what should be rate of return in this case ? should i add all five annual return i.e 60 % In this case and then use CI =20000(1+60)^1. am i right? Mujhe ye pata hain kyu ki mere papa ne 25 yrs ke age mein FD kiye the kuch 1 ya 2 lakh ke Abhi Wahi 27-28 lakh ho Gaye hain. Ye passive income ya fir retriment fund ke liye accha hai. Agar aur % chaiye to mutual funds me 8 se 14% milenge SIP karenge to. Lekin market fluctuations ka risk hain. Usse acha stock khareedo jab market girta hain tab thoos thoos ke stock khareedo aur long term ke liye wait karo easily 1500-1700% price badhega. Ye mere papa ne practice Kiya tha so even service se 100k per month unhe milta hain unhone bohot funds jama karliye hain retirement, vacation ke liye.

Definitely compounding interest is powerful. But your illustration of 15% is bit too much because no investment gives so much interest. Even shares keep fluctuating in return. Still your video is excellent as it inspires to do something than nothing. Thank you.

Mr. Asset Yogi - just two simple question for you: 1. In today’s world who promises to give guarantied rate of return for 35 years? NONE 2. The rate of return in any secured investment is less then 6-10% and that is also not committed for long term. Then your example is totally incorrect and you are misguiding people according to me in this video. I challenge your example. Please do reply to my comment. Thank You!

Asset Yogi : Thanks for the reply. But these videos are linked to Share Market. And we know people can win here but at the same time they can lose too the returns could be negative. Again these are not secured investments, these are risky investments and the results may not be favorable. There is no guarantee here... I think, In above video you were talking about secured investments and used calculations impractically. But still thanks for sharing good knowledge with people.

15% interest annually??!! isn't that too much? the risk associated with it will also be high. A Rf(risk free rate is around max 8.5% and this is expected to decrease after 5-10years) this is definitely too optimistic. A normal calculation would be 8.5% compound interest with 120000 as investment will give you a return of 4cr after 35 years. Also, if you take inflation in account of 5% the net returns would be around 2cr. It's a good video but should have taken some realistic numbers.
