the stress in ross' eyes as he was trying to explain his frames was bad, i feel this games biggest challenge isnt the difficulty, its the inconsistent FPS you come across along the way! the pure chaos this game causes is hilarious, especially the part where smith is meditating calmly then trott comes across the flying demon and starts screaming his ass off trying to push past lmao

I think it was a good choice to come back to this game later once one of them has more experience. It looks a lot more fun with Smith to guide them slightly. That said, a big thing I've noticed that seems like a major drag is the circle? It definitely comes off as one of those things devs add to their game just because other games have them. This game seems like it should reward more methodical play, especially with how slow and clunky everything is, but the circle pushes them to go fast. I understand the need to make sure players don't turtle the whole game, but you already need to explore to find loot and a way out. Hopefully it's just a placeholder for some other mechanic.

Sounds as if Troot caught a bit of Smith's voice deepening cold there EDIT: I like that it's a 3-dimensional battle royale game, in that the enemies in the first plane are the easiest, but there's the trade off with the faster moving circle. And circles move slower in lower planes, but then the enemies are harder. Brings new life to the battle royale genre I think :-)

Really niche thing that nobody will appreciate but I work in elderly healthcare and we use incontinence pads under people's regular pads in bed, they're called blueys and when they said "we're looking for blueys" it conjured up a weird idea of the bois going round an elderly medicine ward politely asking old people to get up so they could take their incontinence pad. Just thought I'd share...

This game looks like Legend of Grimrock and seems to be equally hectic, which is absolutely great.

If only the Chivalry or Mordhau devs worked on a dungeon-looting RPG like this, with their more fluid combat system, but the same idea that this game is trying to attain. That'd be pretty sweet.

This game requires you to flip a switch in your head to a different playstyle. A slower and more thought through playstyle. Its not made for going in guns a blazing. Smith probably did that in his alone plays but it will only work out for the other boiks if they actually are open to that sort of playstyle. i should say playstyle some more ....
