Fun fact: @KShadowVA (ru-vid.com/show-UCKL6Nf4Z4cRo3NlmrVMdVyg) wasn't actually humming the Luigi's Mansion theme in the original voice lines; that was something I had to manually do by pitching her voice to fit it.

In terms of combat if the lil one trains she can learn to be a walking flashbang. Can be useful to stun grimm, especially flying ones.

My guess is that if Nova can manipulate the light, she’ll be able to make constructs and will most likely have more power by absorbing light sources around her.

I wonder if it works like a combination of Yang and Blake's semblances? The baby can channel different kinds of energy through their body, and the different energies have different effects. Light energy seems to turn her into a lightbulb. It's kind of like Blake's shadow semblance without the duplication.

This actually makes sense genetics- wise Yang’s semblance causes her eyes to flash red and her hair to glow, Blake’s semblance allows her to turn herself into a shadow to use as a decoy. Put those two together, you get a baby who can become a human glow-stick

If you look at it from a semblance standpoint, blakes semblance literally grants her a form of darkness manipulation and yangs sets her hair on fire (fire being a light sorce) so... It would make sense novas semblance would have something to do with light.
