Mate i having a mazda 6 2010 there is electric steering but now they showing error and steering is going so heavy no noise only streeing soo heavy what should i do some people's said change steering rack sensor

I would take it in to get inspected asap. Just assuming but if it was not there before a fuel line return or something got disconnected or damaged. Hope this helps.

I am pretty sure they sell them on ebay. I would locate the part number and match it up to be sure of getting the correct part. Hope this helps.

I'm not familiar with those , but the body style is the same so I would say the set up would be basically the same . So I can't really imagine them using a different rack n pinion . Wish I could be more help and thank you for watching

@@s33therfan From what I have heard EU modules have different mounting points than US model Mazda 6

It was making a horrible noise every time you'd turn the wheels , and more especially when in a parking lot or sitting still. After replacing the rack I'd say 80 percent of all the noises stopped creaks and pops. I've since replaced struts and the majority of the suspension components and it's quiet now . The lower control arms are notorious for making noise , they seem to really take a beating . May be something to look at . Thank you for watching

I got this from ebay , I went with the lowest miles I could find and ordered it for around 70 I believe and that's including shipping. Had to get it aligned that was another $60 , but overall I've been satisfied it's been working great . Thank you for watching

Yes and that's why I've always enjoyed doing my own work . I probably mentioned in the video but in case I didn't I found the rack n pinion on ebay for around $70 that's total with shipping .( I use ebay a lot ) I looked for one with lower miles believe it was less than 100k but anyways it's worked great and not a single issue so far . This is definitely something a person can do with a few tools , always safety safety foremost . But the job itself isn't that difficult . Now everything really just needs to be in the ballpark because you will have to take it for an alignment . But with even a new or used whichever you decide it will be a lot less. I was out $130 total for alignment and part didn't take much power steering fluid to refill and I had some around . Some of the bolts are pretty tight but a cheater pipe will get it done . But overall this was a simple fix and went much smoother than expected . Best of luck on whatever you decide and thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching
