Honestly, I love the idea of the Arcade Mode stories, but the execution is rather poor. In a game balanced around 3v3 combat, the constant 1v1, or worse, 1v2 and 1v3 fights that you keep getting forced into is frustrating and blatantly unfair since you only have your Megazord for backup (Thankfully you always get the Megazord you chose, at least) but no assists while your opponents usually get at least one assist/tag partner. The few times the story gives you a full party are good, at least, even when you don't have the party members you wanted, but definitely still not as good as getting to actually use the characters you _wanted_ to use. Seriously, I know they give you extra health bars to make up for it, but it's an artificial handicap that's basically guaranteed to cause you to lose at least once before you actually start winning, and it's very frustrating because it feels like the game just suddenly decided it wants you to lose, screw the idea of actually having fun. And the worst part is I think RJ and Lauren are the only characters with Arcade stories who actually let you use the team you _want_ to use for any significant length of time, and they still force you to use them on their own and with teams that you didn't actually choose to use a lot of the time.
