I think the first Rita release does look like her younger counterpart when she married Zedd. That is what the figure was based on, but glad they released the original actress version. You can’t beat the original Rita though!
This looks wonderful. With the faces and cloth goods and paint and unique sculpted accessories (including her hat, collar, etc), you're definitely right about it having Figurarts quality appeal.
I know Hasbro is taking a break from Power Rangers, but it would be nice to get a Robo Rita as it would be fairly easy to just do new face plates and hands.
I wonder if she did come with her iconic 'I Have A Headache' facial expression I wonder how many people would actually use it. but in either case I'm definitely getting this one sale or no sale as I choose to skip on the pervious release. Not only because of the face sculp on that other one but I just didn't think that the price point was all that worth it.
