anyone else think Tommy can't morph in to the red turbo ranger cause he passed his turbo powers down the turbo ranger was the only ranger Tommy ever gave up for good
i was thinking the same thing. probably because he gave that power to TJ he can't. but then again, catherine showed up as turbo pink ranger instead of cassie...
Rewatch that episode Jason only won because he destroyed the sword of darkness and hence Tommy was healed from his brain washed also Tommy beat all 5 rangers
@@ultraatari9298 I've heard that as well. I still want to meet JDF for an autograph ($100+) at a con but he seems like a cocky dude from the interviews. Austin St John seems super chill IRL.
Tommy was everyone's favorite the moment he used his flute to call the dragon zord. He was cemented as "The Power Ranger" the moment he took off the White Tiger Helmet to reveal himself.
@@WHSuperman2005 Lol no. The Jason of Drakkon's timeline couldn't even win. Modern Jason could never pull it off as he's far more out of practice than Tommy would be.
people seem to forget alot that hailey(who made the dino thunder morphers) can make morphers, i have not seen one person say that it may have came from her.
donald curry Don’t forget about Alpha I pretty sure he’s still around Tommy could’ve found a way to contact him and asked him to build the Morpher. Plus the power could still be recovered via the Morphin Grid so there’s that
Could Tommy's original MMPR morpher have been modified? Plus given the human made power ranger teams it seems possible some of these guys could have pulled resources together and repaired existing powers.
From what I've heard, it uses the original Zeo Crystal for the Zeo form. I could only assume that Dino Thunder is the Black Dino Gem, the Green Ranger is the one from his clone, and the white ranger is from the original Tigerzord. How he got them back? Well, my theory is that since the Zeo crystal was never destroyed, and is said to grow stronger in time, the residual power is used to repower the black dino gem and repair the tigerzord powercoin (somehow). As for the Ninja Zord? Who knows?
Besides Tommy and Jason, there's also three more Mighty Morphin Rangers that went on to Zeo and Turbo: Adam, Rocky, and Kat. Tanya, (Zeo and Turbo) and TJ, Cassie, Ashley, and Carlos (Turbo and Space) just had two suits
"Only those who has been a power ranger through and through shall receive......The Master Morpher. And it has come to our attention....that Tommy Oliver, has earned this sacred item." *hands the morpher to Tommy* "Continue on your legacy Master Ranger" Is what I wish would be x3 Tommy is my ultimate favorite ranger any time there's Ranger talk and Tommy's in it, I get freaking excited and this vid had me ecstatic that he got to be his ORIGINAL FORM AND BEAT HIS EVIL CLONE! and it's not the first time he had to fight himself either. Back in Dino Thunder, he fought his other morphed selves (in the same order) while he was out of commission
I’d like to think that Billy had a hand in the creation of the Master Morpher....I mean honestly it would be nice if that was true in cannon cause I can’t be the only one who is curious about what Billy has been up to since going to Aquatar
You might be right and hey remember dinothunder made hints that he studied the morphing grid when he with help made the dinozords meaning that could have been one of the things that resulted in the master morphers creation
thinking about it like that it would be interesting because then Billy will be focusing on a way to restore lost Ranger powers. Which could explain why when on the Megaforce final battle thing occurred all the Rangers including ones that lost their powers/ their powers being destroyed somehow appeared before everyone.
@@cwolf201 well not quite multipower but in an upcoming comic event Trini is getting to use the MMPR Red powers for a while which should be cool, she deserves some spotlight
I think the technology came from Super Megaforce. Gosei was supposedly mentored by Zordan so after the tech was unlocked for the MF Rangers to change into previous rangers Tommy who had previously been trying to revive the lost Dino powers probably worked with Gosei to create his Master Morpher.
Yes, but Ninjor is the creator of the power coins, so he can make more with more power than before, plus Alpha can make flowers with the grid, maybe he can give the Dino gem their powers back
Christian Lee I think you're right almost every episode right anniversary specials is always about Tommy Oliver and I get it that's everyone's favorite Ranger but at the same time it's kind of like the New York Yankees they always win every year and you just get to the point where it's just so tired of them winning it's just like this they use Jason David Frank because yes he put the Power Rangers on top of the mat but at the same time so there's other different Ranger from different areas I just kind of wish they would have not have made it all about Tommy because if it was the 25th anniversary then they should have made it as 25th anniversary of Tommy Oliver and not 25th anniversary of Power Rangers
Hmm i see where your coming from. in my opinion i would say the anniversary episodes that Disney had were done perfectly. (The Operation Overdrive team up) and (wild force forever red). One was Oliver focused, but in a good way, it didn't compromise on the story. Arguably the (Dino thunder - history of power) could be seen as a an actual "Tommy anniversary" but that was a story focused reason, as HE IS ranger history, and that was his return episode. And as for the operation overdrive team up episode, that didn't have Tommy in it, and it was just basically another big quarry fight, but it was beautifully done.
Considering the last few anniversary episodes that didn’t have tommy as a major character in the story ended up being decent (Operation Overdrive) to absolutely disappointment (Super megaforce). I think I would like to have tommy to be a main focus if it meant having actually good anniversary episodes that doesn’t disrespect the meaning of an anniversary episode.
Tommy most likely has the Turbo Powers in the master morpher and the reason they didn't show it being used was because Kat was representing the Turbo Powers in the episode.
@@darkstardarin but remember they lost the turbo powers before coming in space. But it be better if they actually wrote a comic tying in everything on how did they got there powers and if there is a power in the morphing grid that changes
Yeah that may be true but think about this for sec. Probably the main reason why Tommy hasn't accessed the red turbo rangers powers is because TJ may still have access to it considering he was his replacement midway through the season
If you look back at it, Tommy was 2 different White Rangers. Tiger Zord created by Zordon and Alpha 5, then he Falcon Zord/White Ranger/Ninja Ranger where the powers came from Ninjor. But his Green Ranger is the fan favourite (and mine), that is why those powers will always top any other ranger powers he ever has (even though Red Zeo Ranger was the more powerful).
Theory I had and what other people had was that Billie helped create the master morpher. Could be Tommy's green ranger morpher modified. I imagine after many years Billie spending time on another planet with aliens he learned a lot and his inventions got better.
He was already an excellent inventor, he made Zords that are allegedly more powerful than the Ninja and Shogun zords, plus in the comics Billy managed to give the green coin permanent power again and he gave it to Kimberly’s Ex before Tommy. Or Tommy could’ve used the wand of the wizard that made the clone green tommy to make it
I loved Mighty Morphin Power when I was a kid I love the master Morpher and I'm glad they gave Tommy his original powers back as the power rangers his been
The reason he didn’t morph into red turbo, could be because he passed on his turbo red ranger to TJ in the season turbo. This is probably the reason he didn’t morph into red turbo, because he no longer has access to those powers anymore.
@@donaldcurry1020 If Katherine hadn't Morphed into Pink Turbo instead of Zeo1 or if the Turbo Rangers hadn't been at the Legendary battle, or Justin morphed into Turbo Blue, I would have guessed that the Turbo powers had been permanently destroyed at the end of Turbo.
i like how Jason David Frank enjoyed his time as a power ranger so much he keeps comming back in alot of diffrent seasons and movies, wouldn't surprise me if he somehow ends up in Super Sentai sometime down the line xD
And technically we've heard that the MMPR ranger powers were lost when every powercoin was destroyed, and he lost his dino powers in the last battle giving all of his dino gem power along with th others, so technically the only power that hasn't been destroyed or lost are the Zeo powers, just saying. My opinion is that JDF personally didn't like turbo hence why he left and refuses to showcase red lighting turbo power ever again
@@acecashman1237 yeah, the turbo powers were destroyed as well, but they are back some how. the power choices are weird, with Kat Using her turbo powers when she should have been using her zeo powers
Y'all are forgetting something extremely important of The Great Tommy Oliver. He also has the power of the White Ninja Ranger. Having different powers, moves, abilities, and a new Zord. Tommy Oliver is and always will be #1 Greatest Of All Time Power Ranger!!! Respectfully to other great rangers like Jason, The MMPR team, and all of the following power rangers.
Tommy and Jason were my favorite Rangers.Im rewatching the series. When they started creating new Powers etc. I had gotten lost in the storyline and confused but as I got older I didn’t watch it much. Still love the Power Rangers
Theory on the red turbo ranger maybe he can only access the rangers his been solo in where the red turbo ranger was split in two between him and tj where his other ranger forms have just been him
It was Justin in the movie after he took over as the Blue Ranger after Rocky hurt himself. Justin gets a bad rap but I actually didn't mind him even now. He kind of turned into the leader after Power Transfer until TJ got the swing of things.
Shouldn't his Zeo form be the most powerful? As far as I know the Zeo Crystals were the most powerful source of power and it was never explained why they moved on.
Embodiment of destruction well you do have a point but he’s a little much at this point like Wolverine being the center of all X-men Movies ( not all bad but pointing it out) besides he’s arguably a more effective leader (just look at both BOOM! Studios run of PR). Tommy is arguably my second favorite ranger, but in my mind Jason was better suited as the leader role. And to IMO it’s a bit more of quality over quantity.
The legendary mode of Super Megaforce can already morph into any ranger from the past though which surpasses the limitations of the master morpher. I'm pretty sure that Ninjor was released from the Temple after CTD and he helped Tommy with making this.
I really hope Drakken gets added into a season. Cause that would be the best series... assuming they do it well and don't just let it flop like Super Mega Force. -_-
Not going to happen. The show is just licensed and remixed Super Sentai while Lord Drakkon is part of the comics series with no relation to Super Sentai at all. The only way this would happen would be for the series to go all original in the production. That's a lot of money.
It would make the most sense that the master morpher has his fragment of the Zeo Crystal in it and he found a way to transfer his black Dino Gem, and his power coins into the crystal.
I think the reason why he never turns into Turbo Red anymore is because he passed on the power to TJ + it’s the only ranger form he’s shared with another Ranger :)
Lynk Cable Katherine came to this episode as turbo pink so that theory is out because why katjet9ne have her turbo power and Tommy 8snt she also transfer them to cassie
my mind was blown when I saw his master morpher but one thing that l didn't understand was that when tommy morphed into the black dinothunder ranger his original morpher was on his left hand wrist . i want to know what does it mean??
wow congrats to power ranger's for running 25 yrs and i was 4 yrs old when the mighty morphin power rangers came out. me and my sibling's all got very excited when we watched them for the first time. POWER RANGERS FAN 4 LIFE!!!
It's probably limited to the rangers he has been n the powers he holds. Like gokaiger to access the power on other sentai rangers they need their keys to access it n their ult power to access it's true potential. Tommy looks like he has only the rangers he has been and their ult power if he was able to summon the falcon zord.
To me the Master Morpher is awesome I love that Tommy can turn in to his previous Ranger forms without needing all those Morphers he’s had used before BTW don’t mean to brag but I could tell that the master morpher could turn him into his previous Ranger forms the moment he turn into the Dino Thunder Black Ranger
@@NCMonefaith along with the morpher having green on it. Not to mention Tommy was changing ranger forms during the Legendary Battle, so he's had it for at least a few years
It actually really is a genius concept, not only does this leave the door open for Tommy to be in more roles if he wants.. but, it also leaves an open opportunity for any past veteran rangers to come back who have been more than one color.
@@alucard624 The Dragon Zord alone would be worth it... But a story where it combines with other Zords would be fun... Then again, if I had a mighty morpher, I'd just turn into Tommy Oliver.
I just wish that in that episode Tommy's fight style would match the power he was accessing. None of them used the same style that was used in those eras.
It´s simple. He cannot morph into the red turbo ranger because he gave up that power to pass it on to TJ, the second Red Turbo Ranger. Even in the Dino Thungder, series, he fights all of his previous ranger forms, and the Red turbo ranger is not there. We can also go back to the "Wild Force" Saga in the "Forever Red" Episode, and see Tommy is portrayed as the Zeo ranger 5 Red, while TJ, who also came to the red ranger gathering, was the Red Turbo Ranger, in that episode. TJ had the Red Turbo Ranger Powers While Tommy held the Zeo Ranger 5 Red ones. All this heavily implies he pass the powers to TJ, and he owns them no more. In Short Tommy gave up the Turbo Ranger Powers To TJ Jhonson, in The "Power Rangers Turbo" Series. So The Red Turbo Ranger Powers are not his.. are TJ´s.
i never got into Power Rangers. bit "too old" at the time. so i hella appreciate these vids. keep it up dude. : ] also thanks for making me feel old. lol
Don't care what people say or think, Jason David Frank will always be my favorite ranger. show him in Power Rangers anytime you want, I'll always watch.
I'm a huge power rangers fan an seeing the new movie trailer gave me chills, got a little teary an excited as I do have a collection of the shattered damention comics.. cant wait..
Tommy was a legendary ranger, and I only realized it only this time, I never notice it eversince that doctor O in dinothunder was the white ranger in mighty morphin, the red ranger in zeo, and the red in turbo.
Wow...nice move for a change!! Even at 43, I'd love to have that Morpher. Closest I'll get is being a Japanese Ju-Jitsu instructor to all my juniors! lol.
Bro yer attention to detail is ridiculous!!!!!! And yes the master morpher is sick. It really is what super fans dream of & the idea feels like something a fan film would produce. Love the gold & of course green back drop being his original power was green.
I love the Master Morpher!! I want to buy one if it's going to be available soon that will have the same coins as Jason David Frank (Tommy Oliver) of all of his Ranger forms
