ok honestly tho i dont think drx at 7th is that ridiculous, like id put them 8th or 9th in contention for playoffs. Like I could genuinely see NAVI coming in having taking the biggest huff on the freeze pipe imaginable and just doing the waccest shit meanwhile liquid just looking uncoordinated with on off performance... in that scenario I think drx scrapes into playoffs.

You talked about prx vs eg and eg beating prx in 5 is significantly less impressive than prx taking eg to the 5th map with a substitute player. Watching any of the prx comms videos will tell you how important Ilya is, he outfrags Jinggg often. It’s wild how high they are on Edg. I have Edg placing 6th

Notes I'll make are that I think Kru, giants, and zeta could all be interchanged among themselves. And BLG and FPX could also be interchanged. I might be overreacting but Navi has just looked horrible and I have serious doubts that they could be anyone I have above them. But yeah just my opinion

I agree with everything except i think yall forgot to take in the fact that the lcq teams are at a BIG disadvantage. the nonlcq teams had more of a break to cookup a lot more so theyre not going to stay consistently at their rank, lcq teams showed most if not all their strats/maps, the lcq teams are in lcq in the first place BECAUSE they couldnt beat the better teams.

I honestly feel like the transition between Tier 1 and Tier 2 should be changed slightly. For example 2 teams ascend for 2 years until we have 14 teams per league. And from then on each year there’s a relegation tournament between the 4 ascended teams where the bottom 2 get replaced by the ascension teams of that year. Otherwise there is no incentive to keep playing in tier 1 any longer

Playing in LA mean there is jett lag for pacific & chinese teams. There is 8-9 hours different. I think Pacific team will struggle in group stage, but they will adapt after group stage finish
