It's reminds me of the time George W Bush finished making a speech and when he tried to leave the stage he pulled open a closet door and walked in by mistake.
I loved when in episode 2 the guy said he became a pro athlete at 40, had a whole sad backstory and proceeded to win the coin toss, give away the first slap and get koed. That was prime Power Slap.
Power Slap 2038 The Road to CTE begins this fall. This year we are bring back past contestants. Games like "Who can speak a coherent sentence?" and "What's my name?".
The very reason why I never miss an episode. The fact that everyone acts so damn seriously and even has their own sob stories just makes it so much better. It blows my mind whenever they seriously call what they do a sport.
@@aarons6935 the tonality is what is implying that... He's using the same tone of voice as "it's so important to establish the jab" Obviously if you take away all of the nuance and just wrote that on paper without the context of a sporting competition it wouldn't imply anything...
Forest griffin is catching these guys as they fall. He is basically a towel boy level. That’s so embarrassing. The guy went from ufc champion to towel boy. Honestly Dana has no shame
This is disgusting. Taking advantage of these guys. They get 0k, no healthcare, but definitely chronic pain, ringing, crippling tinnitus, debilitating headaches and early dementia. Great for your daughter man, thank you Dana on the way out
Ya it basically gives the winner an 85% chance of victory. The whole sport is based on the luck of a coin toss. It’s basically a casino game with concussions.
It’s literally the most important part of the sport which is hilarious. There’s some luck involved in all kinds of competition but this is just terrible
I trained you all your life to be here! Getting slapped is where you’re meant to be. I’m proud of you! When my friend ask, i tell them you get smack for a living.
@The joke So getting your face slapped is now looked on as being successful in life lol, wonder just how many of these guys will go on to develope brain issues dementia etc etc.
@@garycurrington5495 They're surrounded by a medical team, constantly checked, advised and are well aware of the risks. Who are you to dictate what they do with their lives and how they've chosen this to earn for their families. What opportunities do you have to offer them besides slagging them all off?
@@thejoke2791 They get about 2400 after tax for a win and 1200 AT for a loss. And are mostly junkies / alcoholics. Most people commenting here are way ahead of them.

You should have it where the opponent can block, but youre fighting over a table, and you can only use slaps, and blocks. That would be more entertaining like fighting a wing chun wooden dummy.
@@BigFlange And? If you don't like it, then just don't click on it. It's that simple.🤦♂️ Why do people feel the need that they have to complain? Just get on with your life. Easy! Jeez.🤷♂️
8:50 - That was the most awkward thing I've ever seen. Edit: 9:42 - God damn, was that really necessary to keep in? 😂 Edit 2: 12:34 - I seriously need a compilation of how this guy trains his jaw... Edit 3: 13:24 - My god, this is just too good... Edit 4: 17:23 - Did this guy seriously just try to slap him... Edit 5: 18:00 - He's a dog, dog. Edit 6: 19:20 - ... Edit 7: 24:58 - Eveone is getting left hanging in this episode. Edit 8: 32:29 - What a way with words you got, budy. Edit 9: 36:50 - Yeah, I'd agree with that.
UFC signed him to a permanent job after he retired so they need to give him something to do, or they’re paying him for nothing. Was the same as chuck before he decided to go fight Ortiz again.
Can't believe so many people don't really like power slap, I love it, it is a bit funny when you see them in the gym when most of them have never been in one in there life, just hope it goes the distance like the UFC did.
@@thejoke2791I haven't been watching all episodes i just happened to jump in at episode six...its definately intriguing ill say that but I'll be suprised if it's around long and I won't be buying the Slap T shirt and as for these slapsters calling themselves an athlete is a stretch right?
@@chaindrive_blvd I guess they consider themselves athletes in their field of competition. Not meaning in the traditional sense of what people generally think an athlete is.🤷♂️
