Power Star [FULL MOVIE] 

This was honestly one of the most hearbreaking Mario animations I've seen down the years. Broke my heart seeing mario killing everyone, then realizing what he's done and killed himself. Tragic

The way possessed mario stabs peach in the throat and laughs whilst he pulls the sword in and out scares the hell out of me...

Luigi was a badass, even when he lost the powerstar and Mario got it. Luigi was still able to go toe to toe with Mario without the power star

The ending to this always made me cry as a kid. I always hated it since I truly believed in Luigi and to have him and everyone die was so tragic. But this will always be a gem.

Bowser arriving to invade the kingdom a day later: *"The fuck happened here?"*

fun fact: the same voice actor of sonic in sonic prime voiced devil mario in this.

Keep in mind, this was all caused by *boos.* The things that are literally scared of Mario.

This is a really amazing flash movie series, I've watched this dozens of times throughout many years, and it's good every, single, time!!

Can we just take a moment to establish the fact that this was made in 2010? I haven't seen this since I was a kid but watching it now, the story behind it is just incredible.

Kids who saw this grew up and still remember the trauma it left them.

The Boos made a mistake letting Mario see that. If they were smart, they would've kept him possessed because now their dead because Mario killed himself.

So strange, I remember watching this series as a kid but at the time neither the 3rd or 4th episode was out yet so I'm only seeing it now 13 years later. Even at 26 I was shocked by the ending of the film and I really did think Luigi would somehow beat Mario in that cliched good guy vs bad guy story routine. But in the end it was probably a fitting ending that made sense in keeping with the show's bloody violence. Just can't believe it took until 2021 to stumble upon it again!

It's been nearly 20 years since Power Star animation was made, and it's still a good one. Sad ending, yes, but still good.

Looking back on this, there were two things iconic about devil mario. The Katana and the walk.

Fun Fact: Daniel Sun (the creator of the power star series) is also the VFX Artist for Bluey seasons 2 and 3.

This just might be the strongest versions of Mario and Luigi

Daniel Sun was such an awesome flash animator. I played his game Mario Combat a lot back in 2010-2013 as a little kid it really made growing up without my siblings super fun :) flash as whole defined my childhood, thank you to all the animators who made our childhoods infinitely better and the most unique!

The fact that this STILL holds up well is amazing

This is one of the greatest stories ever,a tale of a battle of two brothers,one possessed,and one trying to save everyone,in the end,they all fall to the possessed plumbers wrath,only for the plumber to briefly take control,and end himself to save what little is left,it’s so beautiful 😭

Fun Fact, the guy who voiced Mario in this also voiced Sonic in Sonic Prime, that's crazy

This was my childhood, and it still makes me cry to this day.

Haven't seen this since like 2012, it was so epic, tragic, action packed, SO MUCH OF EVERYTHING. For what little dialogue exists in all the insallments of these videos, it's amazing that it had a full arc for the characters. The theme to the story is so obvious: You either die a hero or live long enough to become the very thing you sought to destroy - the villian.

Funny how Mario could’ve just left peacefully and not a single Toad would question him.

This brings back so much memories from when I last watched it Edit: satisfaction still holding, also rest in peace creator of an amazing animation.

And remember this is a 14 year old fan animation and still has: -Better characther development -Art and animation evolution -Better writing -Better plot -Better fights Than most of today animes and cartoons

This should really get a remake combinding all 4 of the episodes with improved animation, improved sound quality, new scenes, sprite changes(Mario and Luigi use their Superstar Saga version while Peach uses her Bowser Inside Story version), story changes(Instead of multiple Boos possessing Mario, King Boo posesses him), etc. If I were to make a Power Star Full Series remake, than I would call it Power Star Ressuruction. And if it does well, than I would consider making a sequel. But, this is not something I own, this is D Suns work.

I didn't know the creator ever finished this project! I only saw the first couple of parts back in high school in the mid 2000's...nice to finally see the conclusion. Brings me back to the time of when everyone was doing stick figure karate cartoons and epic fight scenes because of The Matrix Reloaded. 🤣

That was a thrill through and through, even if I lost all hope the second the posessed army showed up. Luigi lasting that long on 0-2 power stars was a shock, honestly! I know Ikm a decade late to the party, but this is really good!
