Every time I fabricate something out of thin air the first and second one goes in the scrap pile, 3rd one is perfect. LoL

I have exactly the same issue with the pump, and I have my entire engine bay and cabin insulated with hydramat. i got a tip that the noise may come from the top high pressure hose from pump to hydroboost. it is quite stiff and replacing that one with a more flexible rubber hose may fix the issue.

That’s interesting, I’ll have to look into that. I can hear the one on my Ram and wife’s Jeep but it’s not nearly as noticeable as the one in Termite.

@@TermiteOffroad I believe if you can hear it in the cab, but less under the hood, it will be the pump to hydro-boost hose, if you have BJ's kit: the earl's hoses are braided steel, relatively low volume, and stiff, that resonates through the firewall. so a thicker (more volume fluid in the hose) and more flexible hose will eliminate the noise.. have not tried it, have to figure out what hose I can get that fits

Yep that’s how mine is. You can’t hear it outside or in the engine bay but noticeable in the cab. I do have the earls hoses from BJ’s as well. I’m def gonna look into what you’re saying, that makes sense. Thanks man!
