I’d say this is the most informative and thorough, without frivolous chatter maintenance/repair video that I’ve seen. Often little details are missed or omitted that I then have to stumble through when I do the job myself. This was a sweet repair for me - not a single surprise.
Thank you so much for the feed back. That's my goal, even though I don't always accomplish it in every video. I try to make each video detailed enough that someone with no knowledge on the repair can confidently perform it while also not dragging the video out with clutter.
I definitely appreciate your video i like to see if someone has a better idea than i do sometimes i learn and I’ve been wrenching for over 25 years lol anyway i found it better to deal with the pulley with pump off the off the motor faster in my opinion ..
@unclejun4328 the pump was making noise. You can try flushing the powersteering system and see if that will fix your noise issue. Small chance, but it would only cost a few dollars to do.
@johnwright7381 a lot of times parts will come with different seals etc because the fit many applications and different applications require different seals/o rings. I believe on this one there is only a rubber o ring on the high pressure line that bolts to the pump
@@johnwright7381 you're welcome, I've seen plenty of people. Change these without replacing any o rings and they were fine so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
