For sure, literally apart from the sunburnt paint and god awful KA engine (don’t @ me, Silvia’s only came with CA then SR where I’m from) this thing is in unbelievably good condition. Better engine (SR20VET anyone?), manual and some fresh paint and this thing will be a total gem. Oh, and a new steering wheel ‘cause that thing is wrecked
I agree, maybe set it aside for now, but a build series would end up paying for some of the parts on getting this thing mint. and if the prices are going to keep going up then i say keep it. re-build it. then flip it in 2 or 3 years when the price on a clean car would be double what it is now.
Yeah, do all the fluids, filters, get it running better, register it to drive it once on the road and enjoy a little cruise, then sell it. Great flip after all the cleaning and wiring is done 🐀
Do a ‘quick and dirty’ version of tommyfyeah oem+ Drop the subframes, new bushings, cheap oem struts, refreshed ka and a budget prep and clear coat respray
Aiden's got a chill ass aura and vibe around him, I seen his cameos before like in H20i, and I'm glad you shared his channel because I subbed to him. Sucks he lives so far away, I'd love to see Aiden vibing with the O crew more in the future.
I love that color. Looks so much better clean. I think you should keep it and re-paint it the same color and make it look really good. Then sell it or keep it. You said yourself that they dont come this clean and rust free, give her what she deserves. Put a nice set of rims on it, and make her lile new again. You did it to a honda civic, this deserves it so much more James. You know it. Keep the videos coming.
Jimmy and Aidan's discussions have a really cool vibe to them, he already feels like part of the team. Edit: Just seen the comments, it seems ike everyone agrees lol.
Multiple people have already said it but please just make this thing jimmy-o Spec like the cherry hatch. Even if it takes you two years, piece by piece. Nice clean build that we can all cherish as you don't see it often anymore
@@MadCowsProductions1 no worries man, if it’s pretty heavily crystallized try letting them soak in fallout remover as well first, can sometimes help loosen em up
To be honest, the layer of dirt and grime probably actually helped keep a lot of this car protected lol. I love watching transformations like this, Aidan is entertaining to watch too
My first car was a 95 S14, in the exact spec you guys got. Unfortunately I got t-boned before I could do anything cool with it. I always wanted to do a stock SR20VET with a 6speed from an S15, a really good set of coilovers (I found Ohlins for it) and just enjoy it as it was. I hope you guys do something fun with this for sure, staying tuned
I'd love to see and OEM style build/resto on this car. Factory color respray and just clean her up and make it run nice. For me it just seems way too nice to let go of
This projects soooo close to my heart as 12 months ago I picked up an absolute gem and had been sitting 9years the first was was the most satisfying part other but so far I've s 5 speed conversion new hd clutch nd remachined flywheel New fuel pump, filter spark plugs, leads fresh oil nd filter And am about to put new brakes rotors and pads and new springs underneath also finally get a clutch cable and she'll be done The s14 looks phenomenal
When removing adhesive from tint or decals, spray with WD-40, let sit a few minutes then use scraper. Reapply WD as needed. Will NOT hurt paint or plastic.
This is the perfect car for someone to make amazing content with fixing it up even more, so I think it would make the best giveaway car to a fan who has an interest in doing this kind of work.
