wow man I cant believe how fast your channel is growing its brings a smile to my face because I remember finding your channel when you barley had 1k subs keep up the great work cant wait to see you with 1 million subs. Remember what ever you believe you can achieve.
I've had my razer wolverine tournament edition for at least a year now of heavy use almost daily my stick drift is very minimal. Lowest I can go is 0.02 before it drift ever so slightly. All the extra buttons (4 paddles , 2 extra by the triggers) work perfect. Would highly recommend it to anyone ! I've had elites v1 and v2 they always end up getting heavy stick drift in a couple months. Good luck and game on!
I couldn't believe he could omit the wolverine until I watched his review. He doesn't know much about controllers. It makes sense now. That fusion controller is so cheap I can't even tell you if it's any good. It broke too fast. The elite is good but I love the wolverine.
As a elite series 2 owner all I can say is that my bumpers weren’t working correctly after 6 months and I’ve seen other people having the same problem so just be aware to replace it if bought
I've had the elite 2 for a while now and I absolutely love it. I don't have stick drift, I put my deadzones to 0 for most games. The controller feels amazing in the hand as well, perfect weight. Battery lasts a long time. No complaints from me at all
Bought the AFusion pro 2 and a year warranty. No matter what no questions asked. I get two free exchanges same day. Brand new in box, absolutely love the premium feel and type C wire. Feels really modern and love how you can change the faceplate easily
@@kortvinyard4413 too each their own. But it does the SAME exact thing as the series 2. And has a built in mute for microphone. Only reason people would get the series 2 is the built in software feature for the thumbsticks for smooth aggressive and so on.
All 5. All 5 of my Elite 2 controllers started showing signs of stick drift within the first 2-3 weeks and were unusable after about a month. I was able to get a little extra time out of the last one by remapping L3 and R3 to a couple of the paddles. It sucks because I have not found another controller that feels so damn good to use.
I'm on my second elite 2 and both had issues with the LB button which starts failing on you until it actually stops working. The first one I've had presented issues on LB, RB and one of the paddles towards the end of its lifespan of 1.5 year. Durability on this controller is ridiculous based on its price. It's an amazing controller, the best one I've ever used. My main games are fps which demands a lot from the LB/RB as I use birth for ads and shoot, but I can imagine other genres might impact other buttons.
@@jdxcoffee Dude, lol I just bought a 6th. (Lessons are hard for me for some reason) Straight from the box. The left joystick is all over the place. And I turned the little tool it comes with into a corkscrew. The gizmo that is supposed to loosen/tighten the tension is completely locked tight on the left side.
@@wizrdlizrd8805 please do yourself a favor and do not get the four paddle model it’s awful. They’re in a really bad position. The 2 paddle is incredibly ergonomic. I’ve had multiple friends buy this controller and swear by it.
I've been using the Elite 1 since release and treated myself to the Elite 2 for Christmas and have had 0 problems with both. I like the Elite 1 a bit better overall, but I'm currently using the Elite 2 more.
I bought a near mint used Elite 2 about a year ago for $60 CDN (an absolute steal I couldn’t pass up). I was using an og powera fusion (the one with the ugly gold D pad and triggers) before that. This was such a huge upgrade from the fusion and I could not believe how good it felt. I love the weight, circular dpad and rubber grips especially. I have not had any issues with it yet and I do play regularly. I wonder how many people with elite 2 issues are man-children and have been too rough with it. I don’t rage with games (I play to have a good time), and have never dropped or thrown it. My money is not unlimited so I want it to last as long as possible. Great video btw
Assuming that everyone who has some sort of issue with the controller are just "man-children" who rage and don't take care of their stuff is such a dumb statement. Just cus you got a good unit doesn't mean we just smash our shit.
@@agentshadycia258 I haven’t assumed anything. I’m simply wondering how many people have abused their controller. Definitely never made any claims of “everyone who has some sort of issue with the controller are just man-children”. My post isn’t any sort of attack on anyone. I hope you didn’t take it that way.
@@agentshadycia258 I dunno, I've definitely seen man-children raging that way. Especially some of the more poisonous streamers haha You gotta figure it destroys a controller after a while.
This review is quite good. It did answer most of my questions and concerns I did have about the PowerA Fusion Pro and Series 2. The elite controller I will not get because of price. You have (nearly) the same customs on the PowerA as the Series 2 while also having only the magnets (they wear) on the series controller. Also having a custom faceplate would be really cool
Great vid. Just thought I'll watch this because I purchased the Halo Infinite Elite Series 2 controller and I've always played with your basic controller so this gave me insight on what I should now and can do with it
I had my elite series 2 for 6 months now and it's absolutely worth it , I relocated the melee and sprint buttons to the back that way I don't do damage to the analog sticks cause I heard of people having stick drift problems .
About the share button please take note that the élite controler has remap and shift button that allow you To make any button To task as shift and when shift Is pressed this allows you To change any button on the controler, meaning every button Can play any button+functions such as tune volume launch an app
Just got the power a fusion pro 2 and yes i would rather have a share button. Good video man 👍. Been using the power a spectra enhanced controller so i know im gonna love this one and its easier to have two pro controllers since i have two Xbox's in my house, a Series S and a Xbox one.
I like the elite because I can program the controller R3 and L3 to the paddles using MS software. I want to avoid putting as tension I can on the sticks . And for BDO I can transfer the space to A and shift to the paddles, works perfectly for BDO. after a year of use the side skin is pealing off , the left joystick does get stuck minor issue for me. I treat my controller with kid gloves
You can do that in about 2 seconds on the power a... not really a selling. Point tbh. Pay over double for a controller for a slightly better feel and being able yo adjust tge tension of the sticks sound like you made a bad choice tbh.
Hi everyone. I have only seen about 7 seconds of the video and I love your energy bro! I left a like on your video! I'm not writing this to dismantle this video or disrespect it if what I'm about to say in this comment goes against anything I'll see in the rest of this video. I just want to stop people for making the same mistake I did. For people that play Apex or other shooters with 0% Deadzone DO NOT get the Elite 2. I got it and had it replaced immediately because right out of the box there was SERIOUS stick drift even at the tightest right stick setting . I put a work order in and the replacement had the same issue so I just returned it and am waiting for the money currently. I'm not saying this to be toxic or anything, I just want to possibly save someone the month I wasted waiting for the controller and it's replacement just for both to have serious shot affecting such drift. If I can help one person not make the same mistake I did this was more than worth it. I'm not sure about the fusion P2 but the P1 I used was solid for 1¾ before the left stick started malfunctioning which is still very solid for a 40$ controller.
This is a small thing, but for future videos of this type it would be helpful if you refer to the controllers by their names. In my case, and I assume I'm not the only one that ever does this, I was attempting to listen to the video while doing something else. You always referred to the controller as "this one" or a variation of that. If someone is only listening they have no idea which one "this one" is. No big deal, just a convenience thing for your subscribers I suppose. But it would be good practice in case you ever decide to do sponsored videos.
Well for the first issue I think the case has plenty if features that make up for the thumb stick problem but you could also simply remove them and store them in the pocket
I'm still on my first elite 2, I got it when they dropped. I had my first elite series one for years, too. I swear by them, I haven't had any issues. My first elite started to drift after years of use, around the time the elite 2 came out. I have no complaints with the controllers.
Thanks for the video. Something to keep in mind sometimes people play videos and listen and aren't watching. Which makes it hard to know what you are talking about if you refer to the controller as "this" instead of the name of the controller.
Honestly I think that these high end controllers aren’t worth their price when they can develop stick drift in months. I’d much rather use a stock Xbox controller that has a back paddle attachment (as long as it’s quality), and swap it as I wear out controllers. That or a really long warranty on parts for wear and tear. The PS4 back paddles as well as the backplate kits you can get on amazon to me seem so much more worth it when compared to the SCUF/Elite/120$+ controllers. Great video by the way, good comparison.
I bought an elite series 2 controller and it was broken out of the box... Exchanged it for another, bought the 3 year extended warranty through Microsoft, after 1 year the LB started having issues the LT internal pad had shifted so it was sticking to the stop... I sent it to Microsoft for repair and had it back in a week (they repaired my controller, they did not send me a refurbished unit). Haven't had any problems since. I definitely recommend the 3 year warranty through Microsoft, it's only $20 and guarantees you'll get your money's worth out of it. When the Elite series 3 comes out I'll probably pass this one on to my 12 year old son, so the warranty is money well spent.
I put in a minimum of 10 hours a week on my controllers My power As have always lasted about a year(common if your a heavy user) they are one of the most reliable controllers on the market....i would recommend them to anyone who puts alot of time on theyre controller and want a "pro" feel....also the extended stick has always felt like just the right amount of height qhere as others have always felt to tall ir to short to me
I love my Elite 2, one thing I will say is that I kinda wish the top of the case zipped off. Would make it nicer to charge with it as well as having the piece together with the controller If I need to hot swap them.
@@nazarethproductions7095 that's your opinion. In my opinion, it's great! I've had mine for a year and never had one issue and I can absolutely justify the price.
@@sixmarch it’s not an opinion it’s facts. You got to be an idiot if you think liability and longevity is an opinion. Many reviews stated they don’t last past a year.
I felt the power a was priced right and really is a great value but preferred the feel of the elite 2. I admit, I don't use them often though,. I really don't like the paddles. I'm bad at them
I've had the Elite Series 2 for a long time now, and I still have virtually zero stick drift. I don't know what you people do to your controllers but here's a thought... It's $200, treat it like you can't afford to buy another one, even if you can. I have Scuf controllers from my 360 or my Xbox One that are ten years old and still have no stick drift or very little at least.
I am a huge Official Xbox controller fan, didn't want to pay Elite price and went Powers Fusion Pro... Don't regret it. I have Profusion and now a 2. Combined cheaper than else series 2! Both have no issues
FYI stick drift is a non issue with the elite v2 if you have an Xbox or pc because the dead zone can be adjusted and programmed into any 1 of the 3 profiles and will carry on to any device you connect via Bluetooth as well.
@@SwerveNation yes sir! I would go just a smidge past that so you don’t have to adjust it frequently if the drift area grows. Every analog control has some dead zone to counter this effect. There is never a case where zero deadzone doesn’t have drift. That’s why I believe people complain about drift on the elite v2. They designed it to be very precise and have a low deadzone however that deadzone is so low that it will start to drift more quickly than other controllers.
They are pretty pricey but the power a is a very good controller I have been using those controllers for a while now, and I just recently got an elite and the controller was good but I was running into and issue where it kept turning off, but they both good controllers
They need to just bring back the 360 controller with a updated dpad. These new controller sticks are too loose. You can tighten the elite sticks a little but price is too much
This!! I used to have a really good shot on any fps shooter with the 360 controller because of tight sticks. Ever since I switched to the Xbox one, it is hard to control my aim because the sticks are so loose. I literally went from a great player to an average player over night with the switch. I just can’t aim with extremely loose sticks 🤷🏼♂️
Hi my friend I'm wrathing you from VENICE ITALY, I'm a " semipro" FIFA player: I used the Elite controller in different tournaments ( the filling is the best). But for my home Xbox x, I prefer to play with the cable ( for bit rate). I'm using the FUSION PRO 2, and telling you the truth: it's not bad; surely It's better than the original one ( I changed every 3 months). The PowerA IS the second controller I fell good ( what I tried). I'm agree with you about the metal and plastic sticks, but looking the price... And it's better than the first Fusion. GREETINGS FROM VENICE, THANKS FOR THE VALUABLE ADVICE YOU GIVE. GOOD JOB 👍
This was so in depth! I learned so much!.... Specifically that I'm not the pro gamer I thought I was lol! I picked up a used fusion pro and I am right where I need to be lol! Subscribed!
elite series 2, with my personal experience, own 2, once had 3, 1st was so bad after a month of having it (brand new from GameStop) i turned it in for my 2nd controller. Which done fine... until RB stopped working, Left Stick Drift and non operational momentarily. My fiance has the 3rd, A button sticks a little. My next controller will not be a Elite Series... for the expense far too many issues Controller is honestly a great feel, but ultimately, i want my money's worth. I shouldnt have to be force to buy Warranties. Its as if they knew they were selling an issue
Series 2 is far superior in functions but quality is floored. My power A, not as nice to use is still superior to standard and working floorlessly 2yr on. Stick drift and bumper issues on series 2 after couple month use.
Had all 3, razer wolverine was given to my wife as i did not like it at all, the elite version 2 went back to argos after a week of use as the x y a b buttons werent registering unless u pressed them really hard, currently using the power a fusion pro 2, and i love it. great feel, remove two of the paddles on the back, mapped to B AND X, (crouch and revive for destiny 2), my honest oppinion, the power A is MUCH MUCH MUCH better value for money over the elite, i couldnt justify the price, sure its nice, nice box etc.. but its heavy, and prone to problems, plus the power A is less than HALF its price and does the same. get the power A or better yet, get 2 and you have a spare if you develop an issue.
My Elite 2 Controller is 7 months old and i have still no problem with this controller all buttons function very well and my sticks have no stick drift. I hope Microsoft release a Elite 3 very soon because I like the feeling of the series Controller. Take a series Controller combine it with all features from the Elite 2 and my dream Controller is done.
If I was to do a custom controller from the ground up, I’d want an original Xbox controller with back paddles like the elite 2, with a PlayStation style dpad which is imo the best dpad. Mechanical buttons and connections all around, with the option for a dual stage trigger system (fire on pull and release)
Elite 2 is eye wateringly expensive. You can pick up second hand Xbox consoles for that sort of money, if not less. I really want one but unless i was loaded or trying to go pro, I can't justify it.
The powerA does the same job A-ok for a much lower price Just feels like everything is a little bit to loose kinda flimsy i guess like Those glasses with the really Thin Frames and the joysticks for me at least get a bunch of dust at the base from rubbing off and Ngl but the Type C cord that comes with it is pretty Stiff and i like it, feels tough
Got the Elite 2... only thing I'm not fond of is the paddles. I have gorilla hands so having them so close to each other is a bit annoying, my PS5 I have a Riser4 mod on it that adds buttons on the back. Placement is great. If the Razer Wv2 was wireless I would have gone with it as I have a few different versions of Razer controllers and always loved the lay out of them.
im good honestly would rather pay for the Fusion pro 2 thats signifincalty cheaper and actaully reliable. have had too many friends telling me having problems with the elite series 2 controller
The fact that they're still using the cheap plastic sticks after years of issues bothers me. The old Xbox 360 controllers are metal pieces that were basically bullet proof. My Elite controller failed shortly after the warranty period, so I'm extra sour about poor build quality and known issues not being addressed.
This may be a dumb question, but I have never used a controller with paddles. How the hell do yall use it without accidentally hitting the paddle buttons on the back? There is no way I could use it without unintentionally hitting the paddles the way I hold the controller.
Target I just bought the elite series 2 for 175 with case and bumper and everything bruh I was really suprised and it wasn’t Black Friday this was like three days ago I would hit up your local target they still have certain stuff on sale
Stick drift is caused by wearing of the potentiometers... not from "putting pressure on the sticks"... If you are going to talk about stick drift, you should know what causes it.
I just upgraded to the Elite 2 after my wolverine ultimate started falling to pieces...Gonna be taking the Elite 2 back to Best Buy. It feels like shit and is way to customizable it hurts itself. Debating going with a new ultimate or going V2 Chroma. But Razer controllers are amazing. Those top two buttons act as my weapon switch and ping for warzone....perfectly placed buttons.
I just exchanged my Elite 2 today. The controller is really good, but I had a feeling it wasn't that durable, so I bought the extended warranty. Sure enough, the right top back button stop working. It lasted about a year, granted, with everyday use. If you have a Micro Center near you, their warranty is reasonable. Two years for 20 bucks with the option to buy another warranty with the new item. I rather pay the 20 bucks than another $180 or even $60 for a basic controller. I could use the basic controller that came with the system, but it probably would have worn out after a year as well too. Funny thing is, I did experience a little drift, but then that went away lol!
@@jdxcoffee, if I remember correctly, Best Buy wanted $30 for one year or something like that, so yeah, Micro Center is the best, from my experience at least. Good video by the way.
I am a pc gamer. Ive used the ps4 dualshock 4 which i gave away a while back and now im using powera enhanced controller (not the LED one), and it works fine for casual gaming but I want something better. I have found a powera fusion 2 for 49.99, $54 after fees and a dualshock 4 for about $60 after fees. Which do u think is the better controller for reliability and comfort use? Which would u choose?
Fusion pro 2 was an alright controller for me, trigger stops are complete trash and the paddles were really flimsy, feels like they're going to come off when using them or holding the controller in general. Returned it back to gamestop and bought me a core instead which feels way better. I'll be buying another controller as a spare so I won't be beating the daylights out of the elite 2.
I bought two Fusion. And the build quality of those gamepads is utterly bad. My 15 year old Xbox 360 gamepad still works. The deadzone just gotten a little worse, thats it. The A button of one of the Fusion is broke. The silicon pad inside who pushed the button back out tore up. While the back Addon with the four additional leaver-buttons were very wonky from the beginning, i had to press really hard for them to register. Now on the second gamepad, the entire edge of upper right back button broke off. That means the leaver can't be used anymore. We are talking about the Life Span of one year here! And im not playing that much to justify this kind of break down!! For almost 100 bucks for one Fusion gamepad, its like money before the pigs! Never again! But i need Gamepads with back buttons. Its a game changer! I now consider eXtremeRate modding kits. Much cheaper with the same functionality. And if push comes to shove, they can be desoldered and put on a new gamepad.
40 seconds in i can tell u the razer controller is way better than xbox elite. seems less prone to stick drift from my experience, and the paddles have proven to be in more optimal and comfortable locations
The elite series 2 is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent. So far I have purchased 2 and in total sent back 7 to Microsoft to be fixed or replaced. Out of the 8 I have had so far 7 have either had issues losing connection to my console, the bumpers going out, or massive issues with the analog sticks. I take really good care of my controllers but it doesn't matter they all have broke within the first 90 days. Now at this point I am reaching the end of my warranty and will be eventually stuck with 2 broken controllers...
Literally just got back home from exchanging the Fusion Pro 2 for another one because straight out of the box I had bad stick drift in the right stick. Had the Fusion Pro 1 controller that I gave my son to get the Pro 2 and I actually like that one better than the 2. It's the off color front grips and the plastic volume button at the bottom plus lack of colors/faceplates for it. Idk why they didn't add in the RGB from the spectra to the Pro 2 to atleast make it worth upgrading to them. Don't know y they went with the off color grips instead of solid black like the rest of controller. And finally Idk y they put that stupid volume button when 99% of people will use headset volume wheel to controller audio.....could have been a badass controller but seriously missed the mark releasing a virtually identical controller from the previous model.
@@Fraudulent. wanna hear something funny? That FusionA pro controller I got from the original exchange? Left stick randomly jumps around when I am hitting L/R......maybe I got unlucky or there's jist issues with the sticks in these controllers. Definitely sucks when playing fighting games trying to do qcf/qcb consistently with combos.....
@@Fraudulent. I mean I suppose my left stick jumping around on it's own when pushing L/R isn't that big of an issue, but in a fighting game where the wrong button press can get you killed I'd say it's a returnable issue lol. Been getting into and learning DBFZ, until all my parts for my fightstick comes in and i can start using that to play it I'm left debating this controller.
I watched your video. I did want to offer a correction. I play on the Elite Series 2, and at 7:13 you said it has a 'Share' button. If it's the button I think you're referring to, it isn't for sharing. It's to toggle between different preset configurations that you can have. Which are up to 3 preset configs that you can customize in the software. I've not encountered a share button while using my Series 2 Elite.
If you actually watched the video carefully in those minutes. He stated the elite 2 controller doesn’t have it, rather than the powera controller has a shared feature like the Xbox series s controller.
Trigger stops and being able to program jump and crouch will take U to the next level in shooters. Trigger stops speed up your scope and fire by half the time and being able to aim and jump you can target and turn on people without taking finger off the right joystick. You will get accused of cheating because you can do things that anybody with a standard control JUST CAN'T DO!
I have have 4 elite 2s and the all broke after 1month - 6months of use. I don’t throw it or anything and I don’t play all the time as I have a day job but is seems to always the be RB and LB that give me problems. I would advise looking for something other than the elite series 2….
i got two power a controllers they were the normal ones but they got stick drift really quick it wouldn't let me move forward on both and on Christmas I got the new elite series 2 controller which is like 1000 times better
After going through 4 elite 2 controllers I cannot recommend it to anyone. I am hoping they come out with a 3 that has improved durability. FYI in case anyone wonders, I do not mistreat my controller.
Bro him saying the cutouts give the case the win, also said the case smells... and the Xbox one you just need to take off your sticks and even than it's not putting pressure if the cables not in...
Was commenting on when you gave the PowerA case the win just on the fact it has tumbstick cutouts. And you even said it smelled, at 2:20. While the Xbox has room for the sticks if you position the cord right ot not even put the cord in. If it's plugged in and set up somewhere their is no problem, it has magnets, and a place for a chargebay, and a charger hole, and it doesn't smell. Just disagreeing on what case you thought is better. The Power A looks alot cheaper too using materials common on travel cases while the Xbox feels really premium.
