I met up with Taylor Stone from Union Marine in Bellingham, Washington to take this Boston Whaler 420 Outrage for a drive in the nearby San Juan Islands. This boat is rigged with triple 600 hp V12 Mercury Marine outboards and you'll have to watch the video to see the top speed. She flat out flies! This Outrage provides the open feel of a center console yet with the addition of wrap around canvas and dual cycle heating and air conditioning it can certainly be an all season boat here in the Pacific Northwest. Great machine. I have a BW 350 Realm and it runs beautifully but I'd be in a new 420 if I could afford it.

Apples and oranges. 42 feet, 30,000 pounds, and 1800 horsepower. The Makaira is awesome but this boat is in a league of its own in the NW

@@live2boat yes to take a bigger sea over the bow. You’ll notice all commercial vessels have the windshields facing forward. Also give more room inside. I believe Axopar also does it

@@IntuitiveSoul aerodynamics plays no part in it with the bow in the air, a tuna tower and a bunch of electronics like a radar. Not sure what you think velocity is.

@@mattmoore1630 You are talking and mixing nonsense. You want the windshield to be the same as those on commercial vessels and this is a Boston Whaler sport style yacht. It's like you say you want and like the Lamborghini but you would like it to have the windshield and design like a war tank. A commercial vessel navigates through the water, while a Boston whaler is most often passing and sailing over the water with greater speed. Nonsense and stupidity.
