As an airsoft shotgun connoisseur, I'm actually a huge fan of the TM-style clones by GE, DE, Jag, etc. I support TM and their inventive ways, but these have great QC despite slightly cheaper material used and they're all much less expensive than TM. I upgrade mine internally anyways, so it's the way to go. Major respect to the guys running shell-ejecting shotty's, but these are the perfect balance of cool and practical for a shotgun!
Hello, sorry for reviving a 2 week old comment thread, but I’d like your recommendation for a first airsoft shotgun. Anything but spring. Not my first airsoft gun, but first Airsoft gun. I’m looking at the GE sawed off in particular or a fabarm Gas shotgun.
@@Callsign_Kishin I love seeing people get into shotguns! While I can wholeheartedly recommend spring shotguns since they function very similarly and take the same shells, going for a gas shotgun right away is fine! I haven't gotten to use the Fabarm CO2 shotgun myself, but it looks good especially with a tri-barrel assembly, but gas effeciency might be an issue. Any of them with exposed fill valves like the sawn-off are also mega easy to use with hpa. All except for the full-stock 870 versions which have quick-swap gas canisters, making it pretty nice to keep filled with green gas on the field.
NEWBE SERIOUS QUESTION!! When you get killed can I flop to the floor start screaming I cant feel my legs ,my wife gonna leave me if my dick don't work!!, why do I smell burnt toast?, This aint good!, So please, little baby JESUS with your little baby JESUS hands HEEEEELP!"" If I can do that stuff Id join in an instant!! lol seriously that be fun GOD!!!!!! BLESS!!! AMEN!!!
@@breakflame6tsorry I didn’t see your message. thanks for replying! I’m thinking of going with a GE dusker with the pistol grip only variant, and later down the road, possibly putting an El Diablo HPA grip + a Wolverine Storm Reg. I’m trying to get my friends to AT LEAST TRY competition with me. 😅
What a Complete awesome loadout Jet! You Gotta Love the maxim and the Gas shotgun combo, so tacticool. Great video Jet and happy to see another Straight Outta the Box video!
41:50 That explains it. I remember them always being cheap guns before. I think I got their M1014, was super excited to use it, and then the plastic stock shear off because of the force required to pump it. Haven't looked at airsoft shotguns after that. This though, is cool and more practical than shell eject
I liked the long video! Looks like lots of fun and the shotgun performed well, too. I LOVE the V-lights/light-up arm bands. Such a better idea than fabric bands or tape. ALSO, the Golden Eagle bird logo is totally the Pontiac Firebird bird, haha.
The whole line of Golden Eagle shotguns are pretty good bang for your buck... got a couple myself. The oldest one has performed 100% for almost 3 years at this point. Probably the best in their price range.
bro the camera man following you like its a real warzone reporter XDDD at 21:20 , he just keeps following you like hes gonna make a damn war movie ahahaha love that guy
Pro-tip: Remove the shell "door" . It's entirely unnecessary to keep the shell inside, and it increases the time and awkwardness to reload. It's only purpose is looking like the elevator on a real shotgun.
🎉 Hey Jet! Been following since 2017. You've been an inspiration for me and a few friends in our airsoft journey. Keep up the great content! Truly unique in your own right
Lol I was the guy that shot the other guy in the 🥜 on accident and I pointed out that his lens got shot. Jet is very entertaining to watch play as a ref and his vids are even better
I got the exact same model but in dark earth. It's fun to use. Effective range is short, around 10 meters. It is a shotgun, so whatever. However, I had to replace the inlet valve for a WE since the stock one sucks - leaks gas filling up. Of course, I had to do some re-threading. If you're lucky unlike me, you won't end up disassembling the whole thing to clean and re-lube the insides because of a leak. The grease used wasn't exactly great and was probably mixed with impurities, hence the leak. Pro tip: Befriend someone with a 3d printer. There's a circular plastic piece that will inevitably break for some unknown reason. A good samaritan shared the design over at thingiverse.
I have GE m4 mags, same shitty fill valve, I got some fill valve orings and that fixed it without needing to take anything apart, they just sit inside the external part of the valve and seal when the needle goes in
I can honesty say i have more or less the same model from Golden Eagle. Aside from a slight leak in the built in tank which i was able to fix pretty easily. Its a fantastic piece of kit i love it. It was great on price compared to my TM breacher which ALWAYS develops leaks and has the more expensive price tag. What i love about the golden eagle though is that it is super easy to switch over to a HPA system and vice versa. Its basically what the TM should of been for half the price :)
i had a GE 870, the 8875t variant, and let me tell you i hated the thing, and will not buy from them, i picked up the gun from the store got home, ran a few dry shots (no gas or bb) because it was getting late...next day on a friday i went to test it out, and the hopup chamber busted itself apart after the first shot, i brought it back to the store when they next opened, it was sent back for repairs....it took almost a year, i was happy to finally have it back, then guess what? after 3 months of light use (only tarrget shooting no actual game) it busted the hop again, i bought a TM 870 shortly after out of frustration, even dropped it while cycling home with the box (accidentally hit the gear shift on the bike's handlebar going around 30m/h) and its been working perfectly for over 2 years
I got the M8770 version and it sucked. Gas tank valve leaked inside the buttstock, the 3 to 6 shot adjustment caused the weapon to jam, the pump action would stick a lot, accuracy was a complete joke - i shot at a guy 10 feet away and all 6 rounds went past him in various directions ( i use .30g BB) he watched some of them whizz past and was amazed because he thought he was done for. It was returned back to vendor who informed me they'd had a LOT of returns and put it down to a bad batch. Now back to a spring version of the M870 THAT works very well. Nothing against Jett and his platform but caveat emptor
the thing i've always thought was funny about airsoft shotguns especially, is that real shotguns ALSO fire pellets, so an airsoft shotgun is much closer to the real deal than alot of other airsoft guns. of course, i'm sure there isn't as much power behind an airsoft shotty compared to a real one, but it's the similarity in the mechanisms that i like to think about.
I have been an m4 guy for a while, and for shits and giggles, i bought a cyma spring m870. And omg i have not touched m4 in like months shotguns are so much fuckin fun and super satisfying to get kills with it , i wanted a gas one but guy at the store told me once they start leaking theyre done for and springer are almost same thing just more affordable. Highly recommend everyone pick one up
Umarex Elite Force Tactical Force Tri-Shot versus M56 Series Double Eagle Tri-Shot. Which is better? Looks like the Umarex has good reviews, it's solid. includes 6 or 7 shells but the FPS might be weaker than the Double Eagle M56 series. However, the Double Eagle M56 series might have more power. Which is the better build? And are they all around 300 fps with .20?
looks like its made by the same manufacturer of the jag arms sp (theres also the spx, and spx2 ive got the spx2 and its super fun). also looking at the other guns listed on the manual their all probably from the same manufacturers as the jag arms ones, the manual even looks nearly identical minus branding
6:00 brother the pressure inside the container and your gas source is equalized from the first second... what you hear is the container getting filled with liquid
@@Phoenix_Entertainment Looks just like the Scatterguns Jag used to sell. There aren't even listings for Jagarms Scatterguns anymore onf Evike. All that pulls up is Golden Eagle.
Oh god that lens shot xD I got same thing, noticed it only after hour of gameplay (got shot out in first firefight of a day) and the lens pieces just stuck so the footage was unusable. So sad. But cool video! have similar shotty but never had a chance to realy use it in cqb (not many fields here)
Just an observation/question, it seems that a lot more players will use an assault rifle/lmg/smg or sniper rifle with a pistols side arm, so the question is, how many people will use a shotgun when it comes to airsoft games/ milsim events?
I play shotgun indoor. Most people go with a standard aeg because it’s more versatile - you got plenty of range, accuracy, and most important plenty of ammo. On a typical 30-40 player day you’ll maybe see 1-3 shotgun loadouts. It’s a sort of subclass that requires a certain play style. I would assume milsim would be similar especially because of the ranges. I love shotguns, in my opinion they’re more fun than aeg’s simply because of the satisfaction you get from racking it and the wall of bb’s flying at the enemy combatants. If I were to play outside I would definitely run any other loadout.
You can get cheap starters, all you need is a 10 paintball mask and like 90$ if you wait for a m4 on evike to go on sale and then buy some bbs , only like 100-120 bucks to have a good start
@@Phoenix_Entertainment i dont think something that should protect my face costs 10 bucks the usual price range for face protection goes from 30-60 bucks and higher... the gun is also another thing because i dont really wanna buy a gun for 90 bucks and its already broken after a few shots the whole sport for a solid start with ammo and guns is like something between 300-500 bucks from what ive seen.
The version with the detachable gas mag has issues with leakage. I solved mine by replacing it with the wood stock and built in gas tank. Also added a real shotgun surefire light. Lmao
