A few days ago, I bought a buck circuit from China. It has an input voltage range from 24V to 80V. Output voltage 12V 10A. After disassemble it, it uses IC UC3845. Amazingly, it uses N-mosfet. Usually the buck circuit will use P-Mosfet. I then redraw this circuit to find out why it might work with N-Mosfet. Another interesting thing, it uses diode and boostrap capacitors. So it can drive highside. In the next video, I will design a large power PCB Buck, with CC and CV. Wait for me.

All my projects are open source. You need web browser to download file (I upload it to google drive), open the file with winrar on PC. I use EAGLE 6.6 to design the PCB.
