This deep sleep guided meditation and sleep hypnosis also contains visualisation techniques as well as a variety of positive suggestions and language patterns to send you off to sleep in a happier, more positive and productive frame of mind.
Although this video is set against a cosmic soundtrack of spacial music, it will also be available in a variety of background music formats, including waves and rain/thunder.
In addition to helping you fall asleep fast, over time and with repeated listening, this track will help you avoid ruminating on the past and negatively forecasting the future, and instead enable you to focus solely on the present. When your mind is clear of the burden of looking forwards or backwards, it can turn its attention inwards to your own personal benefit. Your subconscious control mind is far more amenable to positive and encouraging suggestions when you are in the trance state.

Usually, when I have a problem, I good stay awake all night till the morning, going through the pain deep in my soul and having too many thoughts. Hi Nick. I really enjoy your videos. There was something in this one that has me confused. In the early relaxation phase you talk about seeing how slow and shallow we can inhale and exhale. Then a bit later you direct us to make the breaths as deep as we can. I am with you on both of those things, but then you say breathe slow and deep and shallow. ??? Deep and shallow are opposites. How can a breath be deep and shallow at the same time. I have a feeling that this might be a semantic thing because we speak different dialects of English. Could you explain please? Hi Niki, thanks for listening and writing. To answer your question, when I say ‘deep’ I mean as in deep into your body. By shallow I mean to keep the effort light. You should be trying to avoid over enthusiastic inhalations that expand your chest. Instead, breath in shallow or gently so that your stomach/tummy area expands instead. You can be a little bit more enthusiastic with your out breath since a more exuberant exhalation actually helps aid relaxation. Hope that helps! :) Best regards, Nick

Hello and thanks for your message - perhaps try one of the longer videos where the background noises are extended to give a longer relaxation experience. What is a long shallow breath?

Thanks for the question, Corey. What I mean by shallow is that the effort level should be low. In other words, the in breath should not be such that it causes the chest to expand. Instead try to breathe so that the tummy area expands. That’s easier to do if the breathing is slower and more gentle. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for listening! Nick
