On this subject, I heartily recommend a track I discovered by accident (it appeared in my 'recommended' feed) by a British band called UNIT. The track is A Tribute To The Israeli Defence Force and it is excellent - tuneful and forceful without being bombastic combined with a lovely lyric. I know next to nothing about the group but on investigation I see they've recorded a whole batch of Jewish related tracks such as Pesach, Yom Kippur, Bar Mitzvah, Israel Is Real, The 613 Mitzvot and probably others I don’t know about yet. Some of them feature Rabbi Moshe Bryski which is definitely a recommendation in itself.

She was mizrachi, grew up hearing Arabic, French, and yes, Hebrew every day. We had Lots of kids, lots of grandkids. She spent hours every day reading Torah, Nevaim, Kettubim and New Testament, her thirst was unslakable, became a follower of Yeshua, (only 7 years later did we marry). All the writers of the New Testament were Jews, all Yeshua’s disciples, all his early followers, Rabbi Saul who took the name Paulus to spread the blessings of the Jews to the gentiles. We should all, Jew or Gentile , read, read, and we should read it all. Study and pray, study and pray.

Why does the rabbi never ask the Christians what was Jesus doing in a public park around 4am with a naked child when the guards came to arrest him??? Or ask why a group of supposedly grown bearded men, experienced fishermen, while out in a boat with Jesus, a storm rolls in and they panic like children and wake Jesus from sleeping to calm the storm...how strong could the storm be if Jesus could sleep through it. They acted like children would act.

I am glad your video came into my feed because I have had to deal with this issue. When I went to the Israel Day Parade, NYC a couple of weeks ago there was the evangelical Christian group talking and handing-out leaflets. I spoke to them. My neighbor has said repeated remarks that you have to believe in Jesus to be saved before you die. Thye try to put doubt in your mind or scare you that you will not go to Heaven. I must admit that it has left me with some doubt or fear, although I have strong identity as Jew, and would not leave our sacred tribe. They don't have an answer if you ask them if billions of people who are not Christian going to Hell? When you point out that Jews don't believe G-d is a human form, so don't accept the trinity. They really don't love Jews b.c. they do not accept us for who we are. They have an ulterior motive in that all Jews must be converted or move to Israel, so Jesus will make his 2nd coming.

As a Muslim, how I wish (somehow) that this festering enmity between the children of Isaac and Ishmael could be removed--that peace and brotherhood could be established between them. Why has it become so easy to convert a Jew to Christianity? A lot of Jews are secular, don't read or write Hebrew, or know the Tanakh.

Too many cede the terms of debate. Keep saying Yerushalayim, Eretz Yisrael, Yehudah, Shomron, Hevron, Tanach, Torah, Bereishit, Shmot, Vayikra, BaMidbar, Devarim. Use the proper names for things. These words need to be said, they need to be heard, partially but not exclusively because the "other" words for our words are almost always deliberate denigration and mockery. I'm not talking to Rabbi Singer. I'm saying listen to him and HEAR what he says and how he says it.

1. “A person should always dwell in Eretz Yisrael, even in a city inhabited mostly by heathens, and he should not dwell outside the Land, even in a city inhabited mostly by Jews, for anyone who dwells in Eretz Yisrael is like one who has a God, and anyone who dwells outside the Land is like one who has no God” (Ketuvot 110b) 2. “You shall possess the Land and dwell in it, for to you have I given the Land to possess it” (Bamidbar, 33:53) [Numbers] 3. “You shall possess it and you shall dwell therein” (Devarim, 11:31) [Deuteronomy] 4. “We were commanded to take possession of the Land that God, may He be blessed, gave to our forefathers, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov; and we must not leave it in the hands of any other nation or let it remain desolate” (Addendum to Rambam’s Sefer HaMitzvot, Positive Commandment 4). 5. Chazal lavished praise upon the mitzvah of Yishuv HaAretz, going so far as to say that it is equal to all the mitzvot of the Torah (Sifrei, Re’eh 53). 6. Chazal comment on several other mitzvot that they are equal to all the rest (circumcision - Nedarim 32a; charity - Bava Batra 9a; tzitzit - Shevuot 29a; tefillin - Menachot 43b; Shabbat - Yerushalmi Nedarim 3:9; Torah study - Peah 1:1; acts of kindness - ibid.). Nonetheless, from a halachic standpoint, Yishuv HaAretz takes precedence over them all, for it is the only one that overrides a rabbinic injunction relating to the Sabbath (a “shevut”). If someone needs to violate a shevut in order to perform a brit milah (circumcision) on Shabbat, we postpone the brit instead of violating the shevut. For the sake of Yishuv HaAretz, however, the Rabbis allow one to purchase a home in Eretz Yisrael on the Sabbath, if necessary, even if this entails violating the shevut of amirah le’nachri (telling a non-Jew to do work for you on Shabbat), as the Talmud states in Gittin 8b and Bava Kama 80b (with Tosafot) 7. The reason the Rambam does not include this mitzvah in his count of the 613 is that it is beyond the regular “value” of mitzvot; therefore, it is not included in their detailed enumeration. This coincides with the rules the Rambam lays down at the beginning of Sefer HaMitzvot, stating it is inappropriate to reckon commandments that encompass the entire Torah, as he writes in Mitzvah #153 [that settling the Land of Israel is all-inclusive].

Am Noahide now, as did much work unraveling all NT and all the denominations across the country doctrine...went messianic snd think my messiosnic rabbi friend, as married to catholic, had to become messianic to keep the peace. Jews and (true) Christians are friends. ❤ It's true that Jews For Jesus are known to suggest that new believers go to a "Christian church". I don't suggest that, because that's not what Y'shua was sent for. He was sent to "bring back the lost sheep of the house of Israel". He intended on doing that by showing them an easy way to keep God's commandments. Do you know what he said to the Samaritan woman at the well? Y'shua said, " You Samaritans don't know what you believe in. Salvation is of the Jews". So, yes, you can believe his teachings, but leaving Judaism is like throwing away a precious jewel. No one can destroy what God has deemed as Providence. People of God shouldn't get too over-confident though. For 2000 years Christians have said Christ was coming back and for around 4000 years Jews have said their Messiah was coming. I think we could all live our entire lives here and not see the Messiah. Praying for your father's health though, Rabbi. I was a Christian before and I never believed in the Trinity even from a very young age. I was always outcast by churches I would attend for questioning about the Trinity and recently found out that my family had crypto-Jewish people in it. I don't know if it is a genetic thing or not, but my Mom never attended Christian church and always talked about one singular God. I never thought Jesus was God and I just believed he was a man who had a good understanding of God's word. He even commands Christians to not love him, but their neighbors and God the Father, which I think is righteous. I was raised by a mostly single mother and her father is the one we found was from a Jewish lineage. They pretended to be Native Americans on the outskirts of Oklahoma and had many children and farmed in some type of a collective farm system. Everything I watch from you opens my eyes more and more. I always started my readings of the Bible from Genesis and would read from there to the end. I maybe did this five times in my life and I always knew so many Christians missed all of the early promises God made, which would invalidate the things that come later in the New Testament, when Pagans had the ability to influence the true word of God.

Ok. Challenge accepted. I'll learn to read your language and learn your scriptures.

The Ten Boom family were Christians. They hid, and saved, many Jews during the holocaust. (Book: The Hiding Place, by Corrie Ten Boom.) Corrie was honored by the Jews. I loved reading her books. They confirmed what I was always taught: That we are supposed to love Jews because, the reason God chose them is because they loved and obeyed Him. It's just that Christians have difficulties learning about Judaism, being told we "aren't allowed inside a synagogue"... (Only Jews). And you won't find a Jewish Bible in any book store. I grew up thinking that Jews knew more about Jesus and his miracles than Christians did.
