This is my absolutely favorite lineup of the vocal band. It doesn’t get any better than Michael English and David Phelps together.

So weird, I woke up this morning with this song on my mind. I was singing this while I took my dog, Sadie for a short walk. I came inside looked at my phone and you did your reaction to I Believe in a Hill called Mount Calvary.

I don't have a favorite grouping, because I just love listening to anyone who happens to be in on any video. When I lived in California, back in the early 80s, when Trinity Broadcasting Network was still quite new, anyone who wanted to, could show up and participate in the whatever was happening on any given night. It was FREE! The Gaithers were there quite often, and there was always a different mix. It was really informal, and everyone in "the audience" could feel free to sing along, as well. We were usually there for about two hours, and it was terrific, getting to see, hear, and participate. What a blessing! Thanks for your beautiful outdoor reaction! 😀

Best combo for GVB? 🤔 that’s tough. Guy David mark were excellent. David Guy Russ were awesome. But I do love this combo too. Btw. The same person is in all combos. Can you guess who? 😂

My favorite part is when David hits the high note, at about 4:45 in this video, Larry Gatlin, who is sitting in the front row, does a double-take and looks at David. This is part of the reason Larry chose David to star in his musical "Quanah."

@@joshmurrayreactionsIf you watch the whole set of San Antonio DVDs, you will see that Larry Wayne Gatlin is all over them. The San Antonio concert is where Bill Gaither first "debuted" a five man lineup for the GVB on video. I think this lineup is probably my favorite.

Best combo, hmmmm. Definitely any with David Phelps, but i like David with Mark, Bill, and Guy or David, Guy, Bill, and Marshall or David, Mark, Bill, and Wes or, well, almost all of them. I am ashamed to say, I'm not too excited about the current GVB, but i guess i'm spoiled...prefer David's voice with the others. Keep up your wonderful reactions to David and the Gaither groups. My favorite pairing was Guy, David, Mark & Bill. They blended so well and Guy could match David’s power which I never felt Michael could. I do agree Michael is really good on this song though.

When David, Guy and Mark were on, they were on. I loved this group a lot. But there have been so many great configurations of the GVB it’s really hard to compare. They all have been beyond incredible. Enjoy this song. At the cross, with David, Guy and Mark. Guy absolutely crushes the solo.
