As someone else mentioned, your biopatch is not only upside down, but the slit is facing the wrong way and is wrapped around the IV. Consider starting to turn it the other way because when people go to change that dressing, that biopatch placement really increases the changes that the IV gets yanked out. Even when I am being careful because because I anticipate that people put biopatches as you did, I still have a hard time getting that biopatch off sometimes

For the Powerglide Pro I wouldn't. It comes in either standard 18 or 20 g so the same as peripheral IV. For larger midline such as 4 french yes I would.
