Im gonna be honest, first time I saw this boss after not playing for a solid year was a literal jumpscare and had me gettin' a little wide eyed. Felt great, lol
i made a slideshow for my class project covering the bosses in dvn, and this was when hermes was just a concept (i only found like 3 screenshots or leaks) so i called it "FUNNY APACHE BOSS" whenever i got to it

Here's something fun that I noticed about Hermes recently: When you destroy the helicopter an Operator (as in the one from the old APU) falls out. Although he lost the mech, he got a chopper with missiles in exchange, it seems.

Every moment of this sounds filled with energy It really fits Hermes well, when Hermes dies too quick in a match I get really disappointed. Every time at wave 6, I would beg for Hermes to come. This is a absolute banger and I cannot put in words how great this music is. This is surely my favorite DVN theme, Hermes also being my fav boss. Truly a amazing theme, very good work, potoe.
Either Hermes dies in less than 15 seconds upon spawning, or the players last less than half an minute when it spawns. (Masochist Hermes in Garden map)

@@akonno.konkon playstation 4 has a built in video clip feature. From what I remember weeks ago, you can get a clip within the past 20 minutes. But I'm entirely not sure

the first time i fought hermes i was with two of my friends and we were all freaking out and i shouted in chat "BRO IS THAT A HELICOPTER" we did not survive that encounter
ah yes, the classic banger I hear whenever my entire team is dead and asking me to revive when I have none left, and the 30 infantry are all locked onto me with shielders and tanks flanking me and the platform raining artillery down onto the Earth along with the sabos recreating Bosnia in dvn, all this is happening on the final wave with just the last hundred or so enemies left…
I hate when Shielders group up with the infantry when I'm playing as medic, because then it comes hell to melee the groups of infantry. I love it when they do that when I'm scout though, allows me to pick off the infantry while keeping them at a distance.
Deleted my previous comment because I didn't much like it, so heres a new one! Powerplay sounds very mechanical with your choice of instruments and how they're used, which really fits the boss as a whole as it is literally a helicopter that has only one objective, to curbstomp Stronghold into the ground. I listen to this boss ost specifically daily. No other boss's ost comes as close to being as much of a banger as Powerplay (besides Death Sentence, Hostile Airfields, Impactor, and maybe Imperishable Valor) Its extremely fast and sudden in its pace with how it starts, much how the boss is ingame. Hermes is undeniably my personal favorite in terms of bosses, and this theme is a big part of the reason why I love him so much (aside from the bossfight itself) Seriously good job Potoe, I could not ask for more
I wasn't able to reveal my feelings truthfully about Powerplay because I was shy or smth but this freaking Music just makes Hermes 4× better I just love this so freaking much thank you for creating such good Music!
I love latching onto Hermes with the aerorig and doing massive damage. Provided he doesn’t switch his targeting to me fast enough and knock me out of the sky.
Which one was my favorite? It was definitely Powerplay, I liked the song since it allowed me to add a little bit of flair when the lead guitar started playing the solo! I definitely had a lot of fun making that one.
This theme really fits hermes. When i spawned him in, this music starts playing. And it simulates how destructive, powerful and dangerous hermes is. I love it
@@AFThatsMe He's pretty easy, even in Dune/Garden (which are both pretty open maps,) you can hug the walls while running around to avoid his shots and shooting him when you can.

i honestly love this song. It really fits Hermes, since he is techincally special attack helicopter, and sometimes it feels like hermes is very powerful. ngl ALL your songs are amazing! keep it up!
One server apparently hates Hermes so much, they said it was for last wave despite being for Wave 6 and votekicked the Megamind just because Hermes soloed them (yes we're playing Megamind)
Ironically, you can't spawn bosses or even units when it's Wave 10 as it's only you and the Chassis vs the entire server so it is clear the team was inexperienced
Funni story: Hermes wipes my whole team, I’m below 20HP while hermes is repairing his rockets. I knew I wouldn’t be able to end the fight. But then the specialist reminded me to “never back down, never give up” the the drop came in… Best fight of my life. Especially since I clutched by meleeing a cloaker
I like the vibe of Hermes theme, sometimes when we play Mastermind mode, the theme kick in without any warning is a literal "an absoblute threat is coming" kind of vibe

Hermes Rage Mode Shield repairs faster Heli is in general faster and smarter (instead of just circling around the map, it can fly on top of you and shoot you without cover) Missiles reload faster Missiles also mangle, and minigun has more damage
Just now I hit somebody using aeroig using the chassis, not the turret, or the melee, and they were on the left cliff on dune and i was on the right, I also did this while listening to this. Very professional tip indeed.
for a beginner's view, he is an absolute nightmare, being very agile and hard to kill, with little breathing room, when in fact you can literally just aero-rig him to death.
This music is really good. If you're bored, you can listen to this music. I was studying and after recess I was so bored and didn't know what to do, so I thought of a game, take 2 pens and ink, leave 1 ink on the tip of the ink pen, then hold it and rotate it, like you're playing. let me just tell you about the epic fight i had with hermes SOLO. so basically all of my team is dead, all of them is rooting for my survival against hermes, im scout and then i just swing around the buildings in the map with aero rig, killing most of the infantrys and low sabos, hermes is pursuing my tail and then i grapple to somewhere far and shoot his well, weak spots i keep on doing that until i defeat hermes i died while he was on low hp.
I haven’t played this for like so long like the last time a played was 2020, So when I first saw him I was pretty scared but I kept up on his information 👌

How it feels when finally got helicopter in WT: 1. Finally setting it in lineup and going to the battle 2. Trying your best to get enough points for your heli 3. Finally spawning in 4. Powerplay starts playing 5. Die after 30 seconds
why dummies vs noobs boss themes are good? isn't just because its fire one more reason is that the underscore theme change into main theme when the boss spawns so it gets so much more intense (also 0:30 hits hard and hermes mostly spawn at that time)
How to Server Wipe a Casual Server: (also hermes is easy but usually players that are in a casual server keep dying to the fat missile shooting helicopter)
And for wave 6, we have 3 bosses that will be fighting you. We first have Prometheus, a 48 year old Private First Class who used to be a fireman, but now has PTSD out of it. He uses a flamethrower for some reason... but! His armor is really strong! Destroy the gas tanks at the back to really pack a punch to him; this will however make his weapon more deadly, sending napalm towards you and your allies. If you see him shooting at you, run away to safety! Secondly, we have Gaia. Now Gaia is pretty much a minor, she does have escorts that are really deadly. Since her healing gun can overheal, her escorts are really strong. Don't get too close since she can also lifesteal from you. Explosives should do the job to deal with her and her escorts. Now, we have Hermes. Replacing Icarus' osprey, Hermes is really strong, since it's pilot is especially trained to do all the stuff that makes it really deadly. It can repair itself, it has an autotarget machine gun, and it also has four rocket pods that are the main reason why the Hermes gunship is able to repair itself. The rocket pods fire four explosions to four different allies. If you're alone or less than four people, more explosions will be headed towards you or your allies. If your scout has the Voltaic Impact, you should be fine since the chains can go to Hermes and the rocket pods.
Ive scared many new players with this So i have some friends who has and used to not play dummies Vs noobs but when they have seen all the enemies and bosses i just send hermes and they die 10 seconds in I wonder why
Would it be cool if, in MM you can spawn hermes and another dif boss, the boss would ride hermes while using their ranged attack or sumthing, for example achilles with hermes, when you destroy hermes the other boss jumps out before the heli gets destroyed, doe i dont think this will happen since the boss limit is only one, but just imagine if it was two in MM
