After first 15 minutes of use DUMP THAT OIL! Gets the break-in debris out along with that likely crappy oil. Run high quality conventional oil for first few hours then change oil again and switch to some high quality full synthetic for it's oil.
Have you used it yet? I got the same one (top mounted engine controls) and did not have success. It started and ran, but as soon as it touched snow it bogged down. It DID keep running, but it was struggling. Then, after using it about 20 minutes, it stalled (motor quit while idling) and I was not able to get it to restart. It has spark and fuel, but I can't get any more than an occasional burp out of it. Seems like the timing jumped.
Was hoping to use it this weekend. Our 4-7 inches turned into 2 inches of ice, and I just used my old electric snow blower. I'm hoping I don't have that problem, but sure I will be using it sometime this month.
Thanks for getting back to me. Amazon gave me a full refund. I'm having an Ariens (much more expensive!) delivered tomorrow. One more question. Does yours have bolts between the blower housing and the motor/tractor part? Mine had 4 holes, 2 on each side, that were empty and I installed bolts there.
I just got the version like yours but with the headlight. Was a little turned off to see the headlight was powered by AAA batteries and the auger housing just riveted on. Ended up returning it.

You know that's right bro. A lot of people think it is overkill but don't live up near us, where life is dangerous in the winter. Be prepared. Doing good, but not as good as you.

@@GY6-SCOOTERS Thanks bro. Have you seen they have a Mini 4 now. I was able to get my money back for the Mini 3 and just bought another one that I have yet to fly. The 4 is suppose to have 360 degree obstacle avoidance but crashed 4 times in one video. Can't wait to get the Skydio back in the air. I need to find a cool location for some winter flying but this is Michigan...it ain't Cali. Lol. Got a little 4 legged fur baby that I am trying to introduce to the channel. Just finding it hard to find the time to do so many things. Blessings back to you and your crew, which is an extension of mine. Was thinking of filming them as Shorts but have you seen the pay rate of those video's? Not worth it.
