Mikey, it's great to hear from you. Assuming Bill's family concurs, I'm glad that you guys are honoring Bill's legacy by continuing to provide technical expertise for the Powerstroke community. Thank you.
RIP Bill. You were a trailblazer for the powerstroke community and there are countless trucks and people you helped, Thank You. That goes for you as well Mike, God bless.
I was very pleased when I saw this come up on my video feed. Shocked to hear of Bills passing earlier this month and condolences to his wife, family, friends and co-workers. Best of luck to “Mikey” who is a stand-up guy and one hell of a mechanic and really smart guy that is picking up the torch and probably running the shop for Bill’s wife (Big assumption on my part). Looking forward to more diesel knowledge being passed on in the future. Great job Mike. I’m sure wherever Bill is in this big universe, he is very proud of you.
I don't even own a Powerstroke but I loved Bill's videos. He was extremely entertaining. I have driven all generations of Powerstrokes however from my job and was able to use his free and valuable advise several times. Glad you folks are still able to continue his legacy in the diesel world!
Hi Mike. I never got the opportunity to be a Powerstroke Specialty customer but nevertheless the information you and Bill provided here was and still is extremely valuable to myself and the entire ford diesel community. While some people were divided about information Bill gave in the past, the overwhelming majority of his wisdom has proven itself to be bulletproof, much like the work of his shop and technicians. His legacy will undoubtedly be remembered very positively and how he (and you too) donated his time to share his knowledge and experience for free here. My first vehicle was a 1999 7.3 f350 that I still drive today, due in part to the guidance that Bill offered here. His philosophy on the value of a reliable vehicle, as well as having pride and integrity in your work, is something that as a fellow business owner I try to follow every day. So, I offer my sincerest condolences and thank you again. Rest easy Brother!
Thanks Mikey! Very sorry about Bill. You guys have literally helped me SO much with my first 6.0 that it isn’t even funny. The knowledge you guys give for free on here is amazing and appreciated. Thank you very much and I hope you all have a good holiday.
My deepest condolences! Bill was a master and the Powerstroke community had taken a huge loss, especially the 6 liter guys. I couldn’t believe the news. Just keep on keeping on Mike! You have an amazing company!
I didn’t know Bill had passed , So sorry to hear this Mike , Been watching the videos for years and I don’t own a power stroke but the information and detail in the content taught me a lot , been using the Archoil products for years too with good results.all my road vehicles are diesels , condolence from Scotland U.K. R.I.P Bill. Gone but will never be forgotten
RIP Bill. His absence will forever be felt in the powerstroke community. I still go back and watch so many of his older videos to learn things about my 7.3. 57 is too young. Condolences to his family. He was such a lively character in all his videos.
Glad to see your keeping it rolling! Bills in heaven with diesel tech ron fixing God's 6.9idi.. and 7.tree... You've help more people than you'll ever know.... DIESELS built this country... ❤from Michigan... Aka....rust belt...
That is heartbreaking. I cannot tell you how much I was hoping to one day meet Bill and shake his hand. I'm proud to hear that y'all are still going to carry on Bill's legacy for Powerstroke owners across the nation. We lost a legend on October 10th, but his knowledge and wisdom are forever memorialized here on the Internet. Rest in peace Bill
Keep it going brother! down here in el paso TX !!! you and bill were my first true inspiration to become a diesel tech! if i wasnt in el paso id be turning wrenches with you guys in Buford take care be safe
Thank you Mike and the rest of the Power Stroke Team!!! Bill would be so proud that his final wishes are being carried on EXACTLY as he wanted! His TyTy at the helm and the world class Power Stroke Team he built to continue to provide help to the power stroke world!!!
I was absolutely gutted to hear Bill passed. Been watching him here for many yrs and learned so much from him, despite not being a Ford guy. We all know it's gonna be challenging moving forward without him but as you said this is what he would want. And we all hope you have continued success and growth. Praying for you and the entire PowerStrokeHelp family.
RIP Bill. Im from Finland and have never owned diesel truck of any kind. Bills videos got me into the trade working on heavy diesel equipment. He clearly demonstrated how complex and interesting these modern engines are with high pressure injection and emissions equipment.
Hi Mike ! Really proud of you pushing through your comfort zone...I know it's not easy! Really appreciate everything you do for the customers of Powerstroke Specialties!!!
Glad to see you carrying the torch Mike. I got a chance to shake Bills hand a few years ago on a trip through the area. I waited for about 20 min for him to finish a phone call and that just being able to thank him and shake his hand was worth the detour and wait. I told him that not only did Archoil save my injectors on my personal truck (even though its a Duramax and not a Powerstroke), but his knowledge and videos convinced me that the 6.0 is NOT an engine to simply write-off and that they CAN be reliable if you address the mistakes Ford did to them and a few things they didnt do factory.
Bill would be proud of you Mike! As sad as his passing is, I know you, Pascal, and the rest of the team will do a great job. Y’all taught me a lot over the last several years and I’m very thankful for it. May Bill rest in peace
Still cant believe he gone..... been watching powerstokehelp videos for years. And I don't even have a powerstroke. Ive always enjoyed Bill's humor and wit. RIP Bill and thank you for inspiring me to work on my own truck... even though its a cummins lol.
Damn...... between BIll, DieselRon and you Mike, I learned so much about 7.3s. Mine only has ~165K on it currently and I intend to keep it as long as I can. RIP Bill Hewitt, you made a meaningful impact on plenty of people.
Hi Mike, i have watched you and Bill from 2009, found out he passed as i have him on facebook which was very sad to hear. You have good camera presence and glad you plan to keep the channell going. From Adam Scotland UK
You know I’ve seen on other channels about Mr. Bill‘s passing and I’d have to say I did cry about that but I am glad you guys are still making videos and working on these power stroke trucks in his honor and his memory, I know it’s been hard to deal with, but I’m glad everybody is holding up very well, I’ve actually watched a lot of power stroke, help content and love the videos posted that you and Bill made and the other with the other crewmembers that work in the building, it’s just crazy that it’s already been a month since he passed away but I keep his memory alive by watching all his old videos, which recently was the spot the shop trucks engine dies at 798,000 miles because I think that video was crazy and then that 2005 eBay special where the motor had a hole in it so it’s videos like that that I enjoy because you learn new things every day and I’ve learned more about Ford trucks little by little. Thanks to channels like this, so have a good day. Keep making content guys.
Mikey!! I’m saddened by Bills untimely passing. But I’ve no doubt he smiles down and proud of you guys, his legacy in the PS community. No a PS owner, just fond of the bald mans humor and the care for his community.
Glad to hear you guys will still continue business, I’m very sorry for your loss. This one hit the powerstroke community hard, Bill’s videos have helped me time and time again, and I’m sure countless people can say the same.
This just popped up on my phone. I guess I'm the first to comment. Sometimes I'm not much with words, so I apologize. I knew Bill. I also know Mike(Mikey) as Bill would say, Mike is a good friend of mine. I also know Scott and some others at the shop. This has gotta be hard on all the guys. RIP Bill 🙏
❤ I’m so happy to hear this. Devastating news when I heard about Bill. Been watching since 2009, before we bought 2 6.0s. They’ve since been sold, but I always loved watching the videos here. Makes me happy to know the shop will live on, and hope to see Mike share his great experience. Best wishes from Indiana.
Hi there, as a fella from Alberta Canada and new to the 7.3 power stroke I found myself listening to grand master bill for all the pro tips. I was truly saddened to hear he has passed and all that info he had has passed with him. I am truly happy to hear power stroke help is still around with big shoes to fill, I wish y'all the best and much love from cold ass Alberta Canada 🇨🇦🤟
First off I'd like to express my sincere Condolences to the PowerstrokeHelp Family and Friends. Bill was one of a kind and his channel has helped me immensely as well as others in the community. We in the Powerstroke community owe Bill and all of you a great debt that can never be paid, Bill will be severely missed. Thank you for keeping the channel alive and finally putting out this video, I'm sure it wasn't easy. I do and will continue to refer people to the channels video's an a weekly basis on Facebook and on my own channel when I feel it's best answered by your superb videos. My heartfelt, Best Wishes & Blessings to all of you. Keith Noneya
Was so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. Learned a lot from him through his videos. His knowledge, passion, and love for helping people was phenomenal! He will be greatly missed. So glad to see you carrying on his legacy. It's exactly what he would have wanted. Look forward to your upcoming videos. God bless all of you in dealing with his passing and carrying on the Ford Powerstroke diesel legacy!!!
I’m going to miss seeing Bill there. You guys have helped me so much to be able to repair my own trucks. It’s your turn now Mike. Thank you for all the help. RIP Bill
I am so glad you can continue the great company that Bill started! I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. He will truly be missed. I am the proud owner of two 6.0 diesel trucks that received the full Signature service from Bill Hewitt at Powerstroke Specialty. Every diesel mechanic that inspects the trucks are truly impressed by the work you performed.
Gday Mike, So sorry for all of yours loss. I bought my 03’ 7.3 from new way back when here in Australia. I just love it and don’t see any sense in selling it. It does everything I need. Bills vids taught me so much on how to diagnose and repair. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow along. Wishing all there all the very best. Cheers🍻
Dont live anywhere near yall but it brings joy to hear this message i started watching bill around the 2013 era i was just 18yrs , didnt even own a diesel just worked on them come 2022 i purchased a 7.3 , im 28 still wrenching , my point yall inspired me , much love from California ❤
Mikey, we all look forward to you and your team continuing the legacy that Bill laid down for us all. A tremendous amount of my 6.0 knowledge and how I ended up owning one is thanks to Bill and all of you at Powerstroke Specialties. In 2017 when I bought my F250, I almost bought one of your trucks, but it just didn't work out. In the end, the one I did end up with has been great and I take care of it as if it was one of Bill's babies...I think he felt that way about every one he ever repaired. RIP Bill, we all miss you dearly.
What a legend, been watching his channel since I was a teenager! I own an lbz duramax which is one of my dream trucks! His passion for powerstroke diesels and helping others out with them has always stuck with me though! I’ve always wanted to own one because of him, RIP big man! God bless you guys! 🙏🏻
My deepest condolences on Bill's passing. I learned lots about my used 7.3. Fixed many problems with advice I learned from this channel. Probably saved me many thousands. Other 7.3 owners that drive my truck says it runs so much better than theirs thanks to information I gathered from Bill. Best of luck going forward.
Awesome Mike, thanks so much for keeping this going,so sorry for your loss,he taught me/us a lot about these trucks, glad you’re going to keep him alive… thanks again Mike
As a teenager hoping to somehow save up for either an Excursion or a Super Duty and I was on the FTE forums I really looked to Bill's advice on the issues of the 6.0L to avoid getting scammed into buying something that I couldn't hope to afford to fix. My life may have moved on and getting a Super Duty may still only be a dream at this point but I still occasionally check in here to see if the newer diesels have any issues that I need to keep in mind when I start browsing the used truck ads. RIP Bill.
Thankyou for the update Mike deepest condolences to you all, it's a huge loss to the power stroke world but I believe you guys will carry on Bills legacy
Don't stop! So sorry to hear. I'm going to miss Bill's voice so much. Thank you for letting those of us that are not in Georgia know this sad information.
Glad to hear your going to carry on Bills legacy ! Keep up the outstanding reputation of Powerstrokehelp Thanks for everything your going to do. See you soon.
It was devastating to hear about Bill, he was a great man. I was just thinking today about Bill and what was to become of the business. It is so wonderful to hear that Bill's legacy will continue.
