The STIC protocol is a way to configure multiple PDUs without manually setting all of the parameters in the GUI. Bulk Config in PowerIQ is one of a few methods of getting the file onto the PDU.
In this session, we will be covering the Server Technology INI Configuration (STIC) protocol and how to use this to modify the configuration of your Server Technology PRO1/2 PDUs. The STIC protocol allows for the quick configuration of various parameters within the PDU including User Passwords, SNMP settings, Sensors Thresholds, and many other parameters that may need to be updated over time. In addition to showing how the file is created and modified, we will show methods for pushing the file to the PDUs including the use of Sunbird’s PowerIQ DCIM software.
