Paramaribo Closer (Suriname) wants to share our view on this beautiful country Suriname. Videos about nature, culture, society and the beatiful people and popular places of Paramaribo, Suriname.
Powisistraat is located in the north of Paramaribo. The length is 2500 meters. We started our way on the Kristalstraat and ended on the Anton Drachtenweg. The roads of our city are typically long and straight.

Wow! There is no pollution and city streets are not jam-packed with vans, cars, bikes, buses etc enjoy your driving through streets

Thanks for you comments. The streets can be busy though. But this is a quiet street in a residential area.

Lekker 3 minuten en 21 seconden wegdromen achter het stuur, zonder dat ik op het verkeer hoefde te letten. Ik was even ter plekke, in mijn geboortestad. Ik kijk uit naar de volgende video('s).

Big houses all the way..Suriname has a lot of rich citizens??

Because there is a lot of space here (and not very populated), the lots for the houses are bigger. In Suriname the houses are mainly built low-rise. A big part of the working class owns a big house. The average house here has about 180-250 m3 of living space and a very big garden.

Oh and Suriname population is about 550k - 600k and very, very diverse. There is not really a overhand in ethnicity.

@@ParamariboCloser im from the Philippines...we all are getting lockedown in our houses so i thought of going out & tour the world in cyber space...that's why i like watching travel videos like yours..i see the world & learn about other countries t the same time...i like the demographical diversity of countries like Suriname...
