Those chocolate tools look incredible - just like they've been sitting in the tool shed at the top of the garden for a few decades rusting away! Good effort learning to say 'Merry Christmas' in Polish, sounds like a tough one though! Massive respect to the lady who speaks fluent Polish and English. Yea, next time you are exploring and see some old tools you should try them to see if they taste like chocolate! We were able to learn other Polish words and phrases but 'Merry Christmas' is beyond our pay grade. The lady teaching us was very nice. We highly recommend Poland for the Christmas markets. Blimey, you did your fair share of Christmas markets, we need to up our game 😂. This looks lovely, grilled cheese and jam, ah, go on then! Loving the advent calendar. It’s really interesting seeing these markets from Poland, there are a lot of fair ground type rides which we’ve not really seen in many other European markets. Millennium Falcon and R2D2 chocolate, very cool. Not seen the chocolate tools before. We’ve had those chimney cakes in Prague, very nice indeed. Mulled wine loyalty points, loving that. We’ve not tried white mulled wine, in fact, we only realised it was even a thing after watching another video. Excellent video as always!!!
We were on a "Christmas Market" mission. It was the first and only life-sized scene calendar we have seen. Most of them have at least had a carousel if not a full coaster which is nice. Chocolate tools are a neat idea that should be available everywhere. There is basic mulled white wine and mulled white wine with honey. The one with honey is the winner. Thanks friends. From one city I lived in to the other, oh i am loving these vlogs :D As much as i don't want to rain on the cheese sellers' parade, what you ended up getting in those stalls are most likely golkas - produced in a similar way but from a cow's milk. 'Oscypek' is actually a protected product and to use the name you have to produce it with specific regulations, including being at least 60% sheep milk, produced from May to September and sold only up to October. Also, I don't know whether or not this is pre-recorded but if you're still in Poznań you have to try St. Martin's Croissant, another exclusive product made only in Poznań; a calorie and flavour packed pastry with white poppy and almond filling.
