Even if PPPwn dose get stable I'd much rather go to a website with a USB drive then run a scrip on my computer every time my PS4 reboots Don't even use my PS4 anymore but it's always cool to see what the community is cooking Also something about a charger

It is going into everything now which is nice just wish they all had the same functionality. For those that don't know USB C cables all have differences. I've been thinking about the downgrade mod so I can play 60fps bloodborne but now I'll just wait out 11.00 maturity
Side note. I found a PS4 in ewaste after that which was working fine other than the drive so I have CF 9.00 on that one. But it's a regular PS4 and not fast enough for the 60fps patches
USB-C is my favorite, but I do like those coaxial (barrel jack) chargers. Can't plug them in wrong. I'll need another micro USB soon from the sound of it. Got a PS4 on 10.55 that will soon be seeing some action again.
I can't see this JB ever being as convenient as the RPi auto USB method. To make it as hands-free as possible it'll need to use something like a RPi with TWO ethernet ports and USB connected if you want to be able to use your PS4 to access the internet (Homebrew store etc). That'll need the someone to implement a bridge between the PS4-RPi PPPoe connection and the other Ethernet port going out to the LAN. The Rpi wouldn't necessarily have to be connected directly to the PS4, as PPPoe should still be possible through a network switch. Doing this would also need a USB key in the PS4 with payloads. Bottom line, if someone is on 9.00 they should under no circumstances update to a later FW. It might be months before we see the level of integration and automation mentioned above.

THANKS for the info I've been (purposely) not using my PS4 (which i traded a Sega Saturn to my Nephew for) which was easy cuz i've been using my unpatched Switch (which i traded the same Nephew for $150 for my copy of N64 "Conkers Bad Fur Day", which i put toward Switch purchase) Anyhoo, I'm rather ECSTATIC cuz my PS4 is firmware 9.03! Whoo Hoo! I had to put my PS4 controller on the charger, cuz it was quite DEAD! Peace!
I had a PS4 Slim on 11.00 way before this was announced, but honestly, I don't mind I updated to 11.50. Bought a lot of games on discount on the PSN Store that I wanted so I'm not missing out on anything. Plus, I unknowingly bought a PS4 with 8.52 (I assumed it'd have 11.50) and it's up and running 9.00 already (it's just cool to use a hacked PS4). I actually never thought I'd find a 9.00 PS4 again and that one was super cheap (she just wanted to quickly sell it). What's more, it came with two DualShock 4 controllers... All that just for about $80.
I've tried the PPPwn exploit several times on 9.00 but it just does not work in my environment. I submitted an issue to the Github repo but it got deleted and the repo no longer allows issues to be submitted. It's disappointing that community support from non-developers (I'm a network engineer with VMWare experience too) is not welcomed.
I'm still on 5.05 using backports, at this point I'm not sure I'm gaining anything by holding back once this gets fleshed out. Same deal with my switch, all efuses intact but nothing new happening on older firmwares yet.
I personally like usbc. But a USB airport there's nothing wrong with that either and they're easier to clean, lol! I like USBC but it should be either USBC or USB a and that's it. And whatever other part that supposed to be more effective in the future make it a standard. The people don't have to waste their electronics
Apologies for the grammar I was using speech to text and I was at work, LOL! It's ridiculous you know how they do this with the smartphones. No honestly they're talking about say the environment and shit like that it's ridiculous that Apple doesn't even give you a damn charger anymore but yet you have to get the right voltage charger. Mr who's the Boss video he talked about that and how they shipped him and adapter and the packaging for it was ridiculous!! These phones should come with everything you need a case to protect it that should not be a third party accessory you're going to drop your phone. And then the big is rip off called insurance... I look at insurance companies as Banks but they don't have to pay you out if they find one discrepancy. And you can be paying these people for years without having to use their service and when you do they go out their way not to pay you that's worse than loan sharking. And oh you pay a monthly payment to these insurance companies and you still have to pay at deductible that's ridiculous that's another fee that's the trick with finances they use all these different words for charging you money it's ridiculous. Like if you go on the phone and talk to a live human they charge you a $5 convenience fee what the fuck is that I'm paying you for service first off that's already established how in the fuck is that convenient for me paying you on the phones I get charged for that th no we just
I was against the change to usbc because I had so many micro usb port gadgets. Now that I've gotten used to it though, I quite like not having to check if I'm plugging it in right.
i think the xbox communicator should have 2 buttons or at least put the mute option at 0s. When using the real communicator i often use the mute button alot as a press to talk thing since some games let you talk constantly, but i don't adjust the volume most of the time so yeah i think mute should be a priority before volume. the mute light was also something that i liked about the original headset
Yeah few months ago i got my ps4 disc drive repaired, but still i stuck to the same firmware for the jailbreak to happen Will see if i can update it now once 11.0 goldhen gets released 😅
@john005_ you might get the skills 5 years from now if nothing else had come out by then 😜 seriously though, as long as you don't have a physical limitation you should take on the challenge and improve your skillset (just practice on something else like breadboards first)
@@hacked2123 Thank you Hacked. I have been meaning to buy the soldering machine. But I want a good mid range one. Even with some practice. the downgrade method seems hard. I suppose i have to decide what is best, ROlling the dice in buying a ps4 hoping it is low firmware. Or pay to buy the modchip, $100 + soldering it :s.
