I've recently given pte test got overall 72 bands while applying for assessment including spouse and one child am going through points deficiency, my spouse is only 10+2 holder not that confident about proficiency test.. If I get 8+ bands and increase my points on behalf of my spouse.. Is my spouse Mandatorily required to go through this test or if I get 8 bands plus that would add up some more strength to my points evaluation.? Is there any provision that spouse should attempt my test like pte or naati during this process.

As per today’s conditions your experience should be inline with your degree. But you can try to assess your qualifications. If you got positive skill assessment then there is a chance.

it’s depends upon your profession. the profession which high in demand can easily get PR with minimal points. Otherwise it’s always better to have more points

In my opinion you should go for option 2. If your wife don’t have Ielts scorecard then you can provide a letter for university stating that her education was carried out in English.
