My first PR22 match at Paintmine Woods and absolutely one of my favourite to-date!

I mixed things up a little for this match, deciding to use some kit that put me out of Factory Division and into Open, just to see how I got on. At the end of the match I didn’t think it helped me pick up any extra points but I appreciated the practice using gear I’m not totally familiar with.
One bit of new kit that I really enjoyed using was my new tripod from Nieload, the Red Mist Quick Deploy. Combined with my Coletac waxed plate bag and MBE plate, from Jackal Firearms, it came in very handy on the mandatory tripod rear stage and was in use all day as my centre of operations / spotting base.
As ever the Bergara B14R with SK Match ammunition ran flawlessly (all misses were my own) and my new Celtic Precision Battleaxe waxed barricade bag with glass fill lived up to my expectations. Best bag out there…
