Practical explanation of difference between 4b and 4c

A lot of people still find it hard to differentiate between 4b and 4c natural hair, that is why i did this second video and i hope it would help.

They both are 4c. Blue shirt just have more shrinkage. Yellow shirt most definitely not 4b.

Is 4b, they have different texture, the yellow shirt have curls patterns without products

Idk it both looks like 4c to me 🤔 maybe bcuz it’s with no product but it looks the same

It is something I noticed. 4b looks like 4c, but the coil pattern is more deffined when wet or with products.

I’d say they’re both 4c. I don’t see a curl pattern in either. You filmed with a great camera too. They look the same. Even looking at the wash day video for the one that’s supposed to be 4b, I didn’t see any curl patterns forming when working product through the hair. Indicative that she needs a more heavy duty product to define her curls, which is typical for 4c. 4c doesn’t have to look or feel exactly the same on every head, thank you for demonstrating this.
