My friend Taki in the 1980s had a ship called "Sea Venture" which suffered BADLY from stability issues due to errors with the shipyard and not testing it...sadly was sold off and later scrapped before ever being completed, shame considering how advanced she was for the 1980s!

Watched a few of your vids. Mainly about hydrofoils and trimaran hulls. Tryed looking for a video about what people said was a cathedral hull. Not 100% sure if it's an accurate name. So yea. I've got a small boat. Kinda makes you think you've got a trimaran. But the "hull seperation" isn't that massive. The gap between the V shapes, is very shallow, although they are still very present from front to back. Once in the water, every part under the ship is touching the water. Can you explain what the pros and cons of such a hull design are? Where it is posititoned in the mono-hull/trimaran-hull and catamaran hull? (for refrence, my boat is a slightly rare "trifoil 70", a few pictures of such a boat can be found using google)
