I remember coaching Macky when she was 12. She’ll do what it takes to make it to the highest level 💯. Even moving to another state. I wish her the very best 👏🏻

Best high school team ever? In 1966 Santa Clara High, in the heart of what is now Silicon Valley, had the fastest guy in the nation in each stroke. Three, including Mark Spitz, went on to be Olympians. They also had the fastest relays in the nation.

I noticed when he asked Bella how many kicks off the wall she did! Is 12 too many off the wall in 100 backstroke? So many schools of thought on how many kicks to take.

U have to train underwaters a lot for them to be fast but 12 is good for like the first two walls in 100 back then like less than 10 in

It is different for everyone. You you are faster underwater, do them until the 15m mark. If you are faster above, do 2 or 3 to continue momentum. Most likely you are faster underwater until you get fatigued, so you should really just do them until they dont feel effective

In reference to the thumbnail, actually the greatest high school team ever was Brandon High School's wrestling program in Florida that held the longest winning streak in American Sports History with a perfect record of 451-0 spanning 34 years without a loss :)
