He is training ever since he was kid, first from garp, then with ace, then fighting with villans like warlords, admirals, even yonko, its not the result of 1 day
In my opinion I think Luffys training in this time, was for him to get strong in his base form and not always rely on gear 4, so it doesn't stress his body out
This is the kind of anime-only material I really appreciate. It improves the story by showing just how much effort Luffy goes through after conquering Udon to take his skills to the next level!
Luffy is way stronger than Zoro. Even when Zoro got Oden's swords. Luffy was 2 leagues ahead of Zoro and Sanji in the start of the Wano arc. Now that Zoro got Enma and Sanji the raid suit, finally they catch up a bit, but both are external powerups. If you take away Enma and the raid suit they lose 40% of their power. Luffy learned now Ryou, which is an internal powerup. It makes Luffy now crazy strong.
@@alfsen_3426 doesn’t luffy own a df 😂😂 without his df zoro and sanji beat him sanji is also an experiment his parts are tougher than the average human zoro literally has nothing except enma and he’s that strong
@Carlos Secun lightning temperature usually goes around more than 10k (i dont quite remember how much but i think it is 14k) take that into consideration, the surface of the sun is 4k... THE SUN
@@abdullanader9935 Naruto used 80% of the time shadow clone and normal rasengan troughout shippuden... nearly every power up isn't him but an asspull like kurama, at the war he had like infinite chakra a bit of sage mode and six paths power lmao He only trained a bit for what days/weeks or so for rasengan and sage mode? He did rasenshuriken so yea give that boy a W for that lol Anything else wasn't him doing much besides spamming talk no jutsu, borrowing power from others and plot (being a reincarnate of ashura) And btw who the fuck is talking shit about naruto if thats a one piece vid? Are you delusional? Go cry somewhere else kiddo.
@@rexpeter1679 based of kurama? it’s literally his power, kurama is his power, large chakra was due to him being an uzumaki that ain’t an excuse, six path wasn’t an ass pull, if you watched naruto you should know that not every ashura indra reincarnate was handed power, the sage literally came up to him and gave it to him, think whatever you wanna man it’s up to you 😄
The gym provided by Kaido to Luffy is clearly something admirable and Luffy training seriously looks more like Natsu training in his base form to use to Final Dragon Mode form to not to stress out
@@dart1023 cuz it wastes the episodes time when he is just bouncing in to every thing so he controls it now he can bounce without going in to something and breaking it when he does not mean too
It's crazy how even after all this training Luffy still struggled so damn much fighting Kaido. Yonkous are no joke. They're the powerhouses of One Piece World and Kaido isn't even the final boss of the manga.
Ik bro they need to keep animation consistent like beginning of wano it’s been looking rough lately not every episode but some look half assed like wtf
He mastered a skill that you see when Roger and Whitebeard clashed in the recent episode, they weren't touching weapons, Luffy put a hole in the tree without touching it.
I don't think it was ryou that they were using, they obviously have it, but in that clash even oden was surprised that their weapons weren't touching each other
@@deadshot6554 It was. Ryou described the Haki being past whatever it’s infused in. Oden likely learned it from Roger’s crew, and through some chain of teaching it made its way to Hyogoro.
And currently at the manga People say: " if luffy beats kaido it's going to be using the power of protagonism". Dude literally trained until the last second just to harm kaido
Yea and Luffy even said Ryou was still to shallow to really hurt him and that he figured out how Kaido was using Advanced Conquerors Haki while fighting all of them and Luffy learnt to use it too he’s a genius when battling
@@meowkai3255 if you think this is bad watch dbz they drag on 1 fight for 50 episodes 😂 I watch one piece after dbz and even though they stretch scenes it’s nothing compared to how bad dbz is
"Welcome to the Salty Spitoon, how tough are you" "I use a block of solid iron as a punching bag, and I have to replace it daily because it breaks" "Here's the deed"
I hadn't watch the anime in a while and now I'm discovering this 😅 *This is filler* In the manga it lasted one panel and it was base Luffy who was creating literal holes in the steel cube without even touching it and here they're showing Gear 4th Luffy just making small craters. No wonder people don't take Luffy seriously.
@@aerokideast you misunderstood how it functions. It's not the gear fourth that drains luffy's energy, it's the amount of haki. It was already explained in the luffy vs doflamingo fight.
One Piece is one of the only shows where training goes by slowly episode to episode and we see the processes behind it. Luffy training his Ryuo was as many episodes as most anime
@@joemar7121 you can't measure by time solely because luffy defeated many who are older and have much more experience than him, we can see that Garp is the strongest marine and that physique is inherited by dragon and luffy (ivankov saying multiple time that luffy body/power/will is more than a miracle and it's normal because he is dragon's son) Luffy is fast learner (fighting wise), has a huge amount of stamina, durable rubbery body, can use all 4 forms of advanced haki, has the power to hear all the voices,.. yes luffy can't beat kaido one on one the normal way but using his creativity and his devil fruit he can, he only needs to come with gear 5 using the advanced conqueror haki or awaken hisdevil fruit, and btw kaido can't kill him self has more to it because he can simply drown in the water and die, he only look for an epic way to die like Roger, oden and whitebird died.
@@aniokeozonnia6961 If you don't mind manga spoilers: This is where Act Two ends. Like the ending of Act 1 we will get some insight on what's going on in the world. After that, Act 3 begins with a flashback. In total, it's about 18 chapters without Luffy. Knowing Toei, each episode will be a chapter or a little less than a chapter. So expect 18 to 20 ish episodes without Luffy
@@SilverRyuu 18-20 episodes are around 4 months in real time Edit: I mentioned this because the original comment under which we are replying wrote atleast a month .

Oh man. Now I can’t wait to see Chapter 1000 animated. That shit needs to be like a Slam Dunk three pointer episodes. One punch that spans three full episodes long.
I use this video as my sound while doing some heavy lifting. When he says “Gear 4 Bounce-man” I imagine myself transforming like him and starts lifting an addition 10 lbs on my weight. When he said “it’s not good enough” I always look at the biggest guy and compare myself to him. When Chopper said “that we are going to go” I said fuck you raccoon, gym > raccoon. When Luffy said “just you wait Kaido” I was reflecting myself in the mirror which gives me additional confidence with my body and my progress… To sum it up, it’s a good gym motivation😊
