1 thing ive noticed is that for a 2 token hole explosion they are 1000 gems to reload, but i have got a lochness monster type explosion that only costs 800 to reload for the same amount of tokens. So worth checking what you have. I only reload woth that 1

I got 20...I never use them, I wish they would let you play the round by yourself but you gotta play against a person... Would be better if you could practice by playing by yourself
Is there a way to gift tokens to another person? I usually lose around 40 per season because I don't use them much and usually have over 200 in the bank
Though practice Tokens expire, I have not heard if unused Tees or Explosions expire. I don’t play the tee or hole explosion to collect practice tokens until my collection of tokens have dropped below 20. No use starting the clock on token expirations. That is unless PD is tracking unearned tokens as well. If tees/explosions expire then clearly my approach isn’t valid. I also NEVER use those tees/hole explosions for trophies. Unless you are chasing 3901 I see no need to ever use them and in some ways it’s a detriment to do so.
I asked Playdemic about this, especially with reference to Practice Tokens (PT) and they confirmed that the tokens only start to expire when you use the tee or hole explosion. In my case, this means that I have 48 PTs in reserve without expiry dates.
@@BKGolfClash honestly, I just did some maths on probability. It's going to make at least to 2 stroke difference. I calculated this using the assumption that 20% of contestants use practice tokens. If people get banner fever and 40% of contestants use tokens it will lower the average score by another 2 shots. Perfect scores will be more common as well as exceptional performances that are almost perfect. 122122122122122122 difficult course 30 shots per round. Easier courses can have as little 26 shots. Let's see over the coming months how this plays out. My maths says all levels will see a score difference and the lowest scores will be in the group's with the most tokens used, of course it's probability and in some groups we'll have a lone wolf every now and then winning a round without tokens. Token v Ball It will see the end of the premium ball in most divisions in tournie play as a token is cheaper than the ball/s you would need to replicate the exact shot you get in practice. New landing spots with free balls and a token will definitely lower your score than using premium balls without a token. Practice and play with the same ball. I've played almost every tournament since Sept 2018 and I'm a free player and I've noticed my scores get better with tokens. -15 or -16 is not unusual wtf I'm 2 or 3 shots better off and if I hit perfect more often on my shite phone I'd be getting more. Easy way to tell how good a tournie practice token is, you nearly always need a second one to correct your error of judgement or play knowing how much to correct.
